Starving, I was starving! Stopped in to this little deli as it was the first thing I saw as my blood sugar was fading fast. Cute little place, counter facing the street. 6-8 stools. I was welcomed when I walked in and greeted with an awesome smile. I picked my order, which he repeated to be sure he got it right. 😊 I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with LT and mayo on a ciabatta. The chicken was grilled to perfection. It was the perfect temperature for my sandwich. Nothing worse than cold chicken on my sandwich. The tomatoes were good, for being out of season, shredded lettuce, another favorite of mine! The ciabatta was perfect. Had a nice snap to it and very flavorful. I’ll definitely be back here again when I travel in from Beverly. As a side note, they must be doing something right with smoothies as well. Had three people come in and order some kind of PBJ smoothie. So obviously they have a little something for everyone! Please please support this place. Small business needs your support!

I took my daughter to the Professors Market for lunch and we both loved it. I got the Buffalo Chicken wrap and she got the grilled chicken avocado sandwich! It was a great looking menu. I can’t wait to try other sandwiches. They also had rib eyes, marinated chicken and other prepared meals that I’ll have to come back for and try.

We catered food from Professor's Market for a recent party, and it was a huge hit! There was something for everyone, and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner, Frank, helped us choose crowd favorites and made excellent suggestions about the quantity based on our guest count. The chicken fingers, cheese quesadillas, mac and cheese balls, and pizza were all fantastic! We highly recommend Professor's Market and will definitely use them again for future events.

Would be nice when fulfilling an online delivery order that food would be prepared according to customers request. No tomatoes, no lettuce for example on a sandwich - don’t put tomatoes on the sandwich. Read the order before preparing food. Customer paying way too much money to not be getting what they asked for. Very disappointing

I recently found this place and discovered they have the best egg and cheese sandwiches around. Today when I saw they are on Grubhub I got way too excited and decided to try one of their paninis. All I can say is WOW! I got the chicken, mozzarella, and pesto panini (I can’t remember the exact name) and it’s stuffed with chicken. It’s delicious! The staff also accommodated me by allowing me to order something that wasn’t on their Grubhub menu—the mac n cheese. Everytime I go in there I debate getting it, so I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for going above and beyond!

This is my go to spot for multiple items. Service is world class. The owner is present and highly involved in the business…he cares. Smoothies are outstanding. Food is fresh and well prepared. Steak tips and lemon pepper chicken are marinated to perfection. I really can’t say enough good things.

I do not recommend anything about this Market. Not much to choose from in the cold case so decided on sandwiches. Well that was a huge mistake. I tried ordering two sandwiches, neither had all the ingredients. My husband got a Capresse sandwich, the bread was stale and the portion was so skimpy. I would not recommend going here unless this place got its act together, workers knew what was available and the worse part was making sandwiches with gloves on, handling the money then going back to making sandwiches. I RATE THIS AS 0 STARS!!
Highly recommend Professor’s catering! Decided to have them make the food for a post wedding brunch I co-hosted in April. Best decision ever! Guests raved about the food! Then in June, I needed a last minute gluten free entree, and the team put together a beautifully garnished pan of gluten free roasted chicken that was delicious. Love their grab and go prepared foods case, too! 10 out of 10!

I had gone in to Professor’s market for some pre-made meals and salads. All were delicious and it offered a variety of options. I then discovered that they also make breakfast sandwiches and smoothies!! I love the protein Peanut Butter Blast smoothie. The breakfast sandwiches are not your everyday bacon, egg and cheese. You have options of breads, add ons such as carmalized onions and avocados and you can order ahead on toast and they are ready for you to run and grab them. I have also ordered lunch sandwiches which are also really good. I love the caprese sandwich on ciabatta. Definitely stop in and see all this great place in Reading has to offer!
Parking: The spots out front are harder to get but there are spots against the building on the right side street and additional spots across the street.

I regularly use Professors Market for lunch catering and they do such a fantastic job every single time! I bring the lunch all over the state of Massachusetts and everyone loves it! High-end gourmet deli! Catered lunch for 12 on 2 consecutive days. Pinwheel wrap tray and All-American cold cut platter were each a lovely presentation and delicious. Many complements from the meeting attendees! Would order again. Thank you!
Parking: Not a lot of spots but no difficulty finding an empty space at lunch time.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with LT and mayo on a ciabatta. The chicken was grilled to perfection. It was the perfect temperature for my sandwich.
