Went on a very hot day, a/c not working properly. Unfortunately the food was not good and way overpriced. No atmosphere. Been here before not sure what is going on.

I’ve really enjoyed the atmosphere, outdoor seating, and much of the menu here. However, I’ve had a couple of disappointing experiences with service. During one visit, a large group without a reservation came in, and servers seemed to focus primarily on them, leaving other seated guests—some who waited nearly an hour—largely unattended. One family even left in frustration.
On a return visit, I felt the server was cold and unwelcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable. I couldn’t help but notice that people of color, including myself, seemed to be treated differently than others. I hope this wasn’t intentional, but it’s something that left me uneasy

Reason for the 2 stars for atmosphere. It is very loud. There are so many hard surfaces that the sound bounces everywhere! If the owner would change out the ceiling tiles and add sound absorption panels this place would be perfect. Their food and service are stellar, but you can't hold a conversation because its too loud

I have been there twice this week! I can’t tell you that I have gone anywhere twice in one week. I went first with a friend and we sat outside. Perfect food, service & atmosphere. Second time was an impromptu with my husband and we sat at the bar! The food is always hot when it comes out and on this night, Maureen took care of us at the bar. Why would I go anywhere else. Thank you can’t say enough about the place!

This is a Restaurant that you MUST not try! The Service is good, but the food is just awful. I ordered Steak Tips, they brought me a dish with exactly 4 -inch square pieces of meat. That's it, 4 Squares. The mashed potatoes were drenched in a lousy Tasting Asian type soy sauce, who puts soy sauce on mashed potatoes?? The 4 cubes of 1 inch steak tips were covered in that crap, they tasted bland, and the supposedly grilled asparagus was soaked in that weird Aisian soy sauce. They charged me $28 bucks for one of the worst meals I've eaten in 2025. My advice is to go anywhere else where the food is most certainly much better.

Reasonable local place, kid friendly, nice outside patio in the center of Reading. 2 adults, two kids, no alcohol for $95. Blackened salmon was very salty on really strange orzo. SW BBQ chicken salad was OK, but odd tasting light dressing. Kids Mac and cheese was a winner.
Had to find a last minute place for dinner so we tried Public Kitchen for the first time. Am I glad we did! Delicious, large portion meals, friendly staff and the prices were great. Thanks for a wonderful dinner tonight!

On my most recent visit, I met a client for a light lunch. I ordered the Caesar salad, and it was delicious with just the right amount of dressing. Other visits I've had the Salmon and the Thai salad. All equally delicious 👌
