“We stopped at Oliveiras Express after a long walk by the Charles River with the whole family, and it was exactly what we needed. Everyone was tired and hungry, and this place was such a great find.
The space is super clean and bright, and it just feels good when you walk in. The staff was kind and welcoming, and they didn’t rush us while we decided what to get. That always makes a difference when you’re there with kids.
The food was honestly delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and filling in the best way. The easiest way to explain it is Brazilian Chipotle. You build your bowl or plate with rice, beans, meats, and toppings, but the flavors are pure Brazil. Everything tasted homemade and well seasoned.
It’s also right across from Blackbird Donuts, so grabbing dessert after was the perfect ending to the afternoon. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Definitely a five star spot.“

Their Brazillian BBQ is just to die for. Seasoned to perfection and gently roasted on a skewer. One of the top Brazilian food places for sure.“

“Loved the food. Yummy! Only criticism is the $9 spring roll appetizer I ordered — while very tasty was way too thin. For the quantity it should have been priced at around $6 but hey isn’t everything overpriced in Boston? The chicken bowl was just right.“

“Fantastic find! Food was amazing, very authentic Brazilian food. They have it set up so you can try different things. Highly recommend the steak and the beef stew. Very affordable prices. The owners (husband and wife) could not have been more friendly and inviting. Place has been there for 22 years so they must be doing something right. Will definitely go back.“

“We had Mr.Petisco deliver food for a baby shower. Mom to be is Brazilian so we wanted to bring a little bit of her home to the party. I had absolutely no idea what to order or how much. We had about 25 people and Lais recommended an incredibly delicious variety of snacks and sweets. They were such a hit we barely had any food left over. The owners are incredibly sweet and helpful and respond to any inquiry quickly. I would like to say Thank you so much for all of your suggestions and delivery which was a huge help! Wonderful food and wonderful people. Thank you again for helping make the day so special.“

“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. Me, my daughter and my inner child drove home with smiles on our faces with food for my wife and my mother to enjoy!!! Amazing! We’ll be back soon!“

“We had a good time. The table they offered we didn't like and they worked hard to give us exactly what we wanted. We were a party of 12 and they took really good care of us. From giving us the table we wanted to serving us well until we left. They're amazing. Our host was supper nice and our server is the best. She always takes good care of us. 🤩 I always go here especially for the buffet and the all you can eat option so that I can have a variety of meat to choose from. Thank you Oliveira's Steakhouse -Somerville for always giving us the best service.“

“I've been choosing here for my mall orange chicken fix as opposed to their next door neighbor. They give smaller edible pieces and generous portions in comparison. Quality is much better too. “Excellent place to have breakfast alone or with the family, I liked the natural juices especially the passion fruit juice (passion fruit) and the meat pies and I tried one that I think is made of cassava and stuffed with chicken, but I'm not sure... the attention It is in English, Spanish and Portuguese.“

“My favorite açaí spot on the North Shore! The prices are the best around here, the toppings are very generous, and the flavor is always delicious. Everything tastes fresh and well made. Definitely my go-to place when I’m craving a good açaí bowl. 😋“

“This is a place I visit often!! I LOVE their pasta salad, potato salad, the fluffiest white rice, all of the dishes are delicious! The staff are friendly! The meat is great! You can tell them if you like it more well done. I always get a Guava juice too! I FILL my belly for under $20 each time!“
