“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“
“I'm absolutely smitten with this place! The falafels were bursting with flavor and had the perfect texture. Though the wrap was a bit too moist for me, it didn't ruin the experience. Plus, you get generous portions at reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back!“
“Best falafel I've ever tasted. Walk in and they hand you a piece before you even order! The food is delicious, portion sizes are great, and the owner is very personable and genuinely appreciates his customers. The falafel, hummus, and chicken shawarma are all very “
“Truly truly truly the greatest halal food you'll find in Boston. The Super Shawarma Sandwich is delectable, with crunchy fries and melty cheese on the inside leaving you wanting more with each bite. I also tried the Mixed Grill Plate which had an assortment of their grilled kabob meats (lamb, chicken, kafta, chicken kafta) - all phenomenal! Great service as well, they always make me feel like family. Stop by and enjoy the best halal eats in Boston.Vegetarian options: Falafel, Babaganoush, Hummus“
“Excellent service, great selection, and fresh ingredients. I was not super excited to pay money for a wrap considering I make them all the time at home, but I was very wrong. I have had two so far, steak and goat cheese and jerk chicken. Both very good. They have a few options for type of wrap and also offer bowls. Well done.“
“I got the chicken shawarma wrap, it was delicious and freshly made. Garlic sauce, hummus and yoghurt, lots of salad and lots of chicken. Pretty healthy for a quick lunch on the way to the station. Coffee was good too, got a small bit with I got a large. Service was polite and kind. This was on a Saturday so likely more quiet than in the week. I would recommend!“
“I love this place. The food is amazing, Kafta, hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, bastirma, you name it, it’s good. They even have some kid/picky eater friendly items like chicken fingers that are great. They’re adding pizza to the menu, and I can’t wait to give it a try.“
