Ever been to a place that feels like a good memory from back in the day? That’s how it feels at New Deal Fruit. When I was a kid, I’d go with my grandfather. Today I drove three hours, 185 miles one way for the very best, always tasty, Italian Sub in honor of my Papa. Thanks guys for all that you do, and all of the smiles that come across the counter. You’ll never find a friendlier, more community and service oriented deli in all of New England. Thank you so much.

The team, led by owner Yanni, Dom, and Nicky, offers excellent service and a fun, sarcastic atmosphere that makes waiting for your subs enjoyable. Many longtime customers say the sandwiches are amazing, and the staff's personality adds to the neighborhood charm. While the quality and flavor are consistently praised, some recent visits have seen the steak n cheese subs less filled, with more bread than meat, which has disappointed some customers. Nonetheless, New Deal remains one of the best spots in the area for affordable, high-quality Italian subs and a unique deli experience.
