There are 5 different buildings, we stayed in the main building which includes the reception desk, breakfast room, stairs down to the fitness room, access to the indoor pool and outdoor sitting area with firepit. The continental breakfast was more than adequate for us. The day before leaving the pool unfortunately had to be closed for unexpected maintenance, thru no fault of the hotel, but they extended our time on check-out day so we could use the pool if we wanted. Grounds are very well-maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. There's a convenient park & ride tram service across the street for transportation to the center of Rockport which runs every 1/2 hr. or so.

Great spot! The rooms were very clean and the location was very nice being so close to town. Price is right! Would definitely go back there with my family in the future. We actually engender our stay by one night because we were enjoying our time so much

The room is nice and spacious, that is about it. There are serious problems with the hotel. The rooms outside of the main building do not have wifi connectivity(210 region especially). We talked to them and they said they can’t do anything. This is horrible for people from abroad as we rely on wifi for communication. You pay for it, but you don’t get it and when you talk to them, they know about it and don’t do anything. Also, they don’t provide towels at the pool. The pool is cold and not very clean. The bathroom near the pool is also dirty. The room wasn’t prepared at 4:30 pm even though the check in time is 3 pm. So, not recommended for the price that you would pay to stay.

It is a motel-style accommodation. The rooms were nice and clean. We were surprised that it was motel-like with room doors outside, which was tricky because it was raining the night we arrived. The pool was not attached to the rooms, so we had to walk outside in the rain to get to the pool house. The pool house is VERY warm. Although, there were no pool towels, so we had to use shower towels. The grab-and-go breakfast was decent. It is all prepackaged. I would rate this 3.5 stars if allowed.

It’s lovely property with a spacious room and bathroom. The breakfast is very basic but is served with a smile. We had a strange experience when we got back to the room late evening.. the room hadn’t been cleaned inspite of the sign put on the door. On complaining to the lady at the reception we were told we plan to remove the signs in all rooms as we are under staffed and can’t clean all rooms! That’s absurd given the high room rents being charged! We were able to convince them to move us to another room thankfully Other than this all else was nice

If you're looking for spacious rooms & a great location... this is the spot Located within walking distance (or a short drive) to the local train station you can get right into Boston, Salem, Gloucester, and many more conveniently). You can also drive into each of these places from here quite easily also. Room provides a microwave, mini fridge & the other normal hotel amenities. Rooms are quite spacious - the housekeeping does not come around unless you ask them to (which could be noted somewhere - unless we missed it somewhere). The pool is quite large & there is a nice outdoor sitting area with fire There is also a bbq provided that you can use Hotel provides a continental breakfast with enough food & drink provided that you'll feel fed. (coffee, tea, juice - bagels, muffins, oatmeal, fruits, cereal bars, danishes)

The pool is great for all and there is a nice picnic lounge area outside it with a fire pit. The common facilities are attractive and good. A licensed bar would be a nice addition for the evening so that there’s something to do other than sit in the room. Shame you have to ask to have your room cleaned (and even then, they didn’t do it once when we asked). The bedrooms are adequate and functional (if fairly dark and gloomy) but our bathroom was extremely cramped (for a family room) and the rooms are tired and in much need of an update. A couple of the reception staff are very off-hand, almost to the point of rudeness. The breakfast is extremely basic and a poor excuse for a ‘deluxe continental’ spread: packaged bagels and sweet yogurts with no fresh milk available. Overall an adequate stay but they could do better.

We’ve been coming to this hotel on and off for years upon visiting Rockport, but I noticed a definite cutting of corners, certainly in the breakfast buffet. Take a look at their online photos and you’ll see two hot serving trays, and a cold cereal dispenser. Both of which are missing now so it’s sort of false advertising. What is available is pre-wrapped pretty awful bread and industrial bagels, and a few other items. The coffee was pretty poor as well. I certainly don’t expect a hot gourmet breakfast when a hotel advertises continental breakfast, but something better than this is what you usually find these days. I fully expect that they will blame this on Covid, which is become an easy thing to say to sneakily reduce costs. They need to step up their game here. Plus we were told by the front desk clerk sorry, no room service, due to staff shortages. I will bet this is just another way to save a few bucks on labor costs. And…the Wi-Fi had no signal. So our next trip to visit Rockport I have a feeling we will look elsewhere to stay.

Easy check in, good housekeeping service, good breakfast, wonderful pool conditions and, the most important, wonderful customer service. I was pumping for my newborn baby and I really needed a place to store the milk since the fridge didn t have a freezer. They offered to keep it in their big commercial freezer the days I was there, which was a life saver. Everyone I dealt with was kind and empathetic and helped me personally when I needed the most. This wonderful place is a definite gem! We were staying in lots of different hotels on our 2 week trip to the East Coast. This place is wonderful & the staff is quite professional. They love their job and want to make you feel very invited. The rooms are so clean and the beds were a dream to sleep on. We will tell everyone about this great motel.

Spent a couple days in Gloucester and decided to save a few dollars and stay here. We are so glad we did! Nice, renovated clean rooms. The pool was huge and very clean as well. Everything was up to our expectations. Breakfast was a bit lacking, but it was just a continental breakfast, so it is what it is. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Once again, we allowed ourselves to have reasonably high expectations based on the hotel website. In actuality, the hotel is very ordinary at best. The staff was not particularly friendly, the room was small and inadequately equipped and overall we were disappointed with our experience. We had hoped for better.

The room was ok, A/C didn’t work but my major complaint is the staff they are beyond rude and won’t help with anything absolutely terrible for the price we paid to stay seemed bothered with any questions we had

We had booked a room with 2 queen beds for us and two children. On checking in, we were told that they had overbooked the rooms so we were given a suite at no extra charge. Good points: the suite was very spacious and the upstairs bed was very comfy. The fitness centre was great and very clean. We enjoyed the walk into town each day (about a mile). The outside of the inn was lovely with some attractive plants. We could park right outside our room. The pool was a good size (and mostly completely empty) and we liked sitting by the fire pit. The breakfast had plenty of different items including fresh fruit and yoghurt. Not so good points: had to go and ask for bedding for the sofa bed. We were given a sheet with a rip in it, only one pillow and pillow case, a duvet cover but no duvet and a blanket. I went to ask for a duvet and was given a thin throw instead. The pool was freezing - my son’s lips actually turned blue! There were no instructions for how anything worked. We battled with the air conditioning and the shower, but worked them out eventually! The staff were helpful when asked for extra towels etc.
