Brackett's Oceanview Restaurant

Loved it.

I've only been here for Brother's Brew which is tremendous. Great energy with coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches that are the tits.

Brackett's has a clean, hip, retro looking room in the back. The space in the front feels kinda run down .

Solid, tasty food. We had fried pickles, baked scrod & scallops, as well as arugula salad with grilled chicken. We went in late at 7:15 pm on Saturday, and were granted a waterfront view table. Service was a little slow due to only 2 staff for all tables, but we were in no hurry.

It was ok. The ruben was serviceable.

This is a cute cafe that the locals directed us to after telling us not to feed the parking meter because it was so early in the morning. We walked on in and the specials board was clearly displayed. You go to one side for the bathrooms (meh, because of previous users and a busy weekend morning crowd). You go to the other side for ordering food. There were plenty of choices. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. The food was ready in a timely fashion and we sat a table for 2. We did some people watching and loved how the locals were meeting up, taking care of one another, and friendly towards tourists. We bused our tables on the way out and felt satisfied with our choice. Likely to return.

Only know breakfast at brother's be which is in Brackets, I think. Best prices in town and the donuts and breakfast sandwiches and coffee will have you coming back day after day.

Delightful seafood dinner with a fantastic view of the Rockport beach and harbor. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We both had the baked scallops with mashed potatoes and mashed butternut squash. Very tasty and they had Maine Lunch on draft. All around great meal.

From the street it looks like nothing is going on- but the acton is in the back, a busy big room with windows facing the water. Lots of good food choices, friendly service, open room a little noisy.

Room with superb view of the sea and Rockport Bay. The decoration of the room is basic and cold, but made up for by the superb view. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very good. Too bad there wasn't the "draft" beer ordered.
