Beautiful view, waitstaff were very nice but the food was not good at all. It's sad when you end up putting salt on a fish sandwich and cole slaw just to get some kind of flavor out of it.
Lovely spot. Wandered in from the street not expecting much, but turned out to have stunning views, as well as friendly, accommodating service and a relaxed atmosphere, varied menu (including large selection of wines, cocktails etc), and reasonable prices. No wait for a table in a day when all the pier side dining was jam packed. Would definitely return. Would be perfect during the cooler seasons also given the indoor dining but floor length windows (facing west - sunsets would...
Wonderfully consistent kitchen and a million dollar view of Rockport Harbor, Brackett's is the perfect pre-show early dinner before catching a performance at Shalin Liu a couple doors away ( it's also great for lunch).
THE VIEW sweeps left to right from Front Beach, past the main harbor to the humble of buildings that huddle on Bearskin Neck. About half the seats have good to excellent views through the wall of windows.
