I went there yesterday with my lady (2/19/26) and the portions were nice , the two things I had a problem was they got my order wrong and they overcharged my card. The bill was about $120 so I gave a cash tip . But today I got a notification from my bank of $140 . So just be careful going here

My family is from Michigan and they love seafood, but we have been going broke trying to find just the right place out here in Boston. I insist on high quality, delicious food, and my dad insists on a friendly, casual, comfortable atmosphere. Shaking Seafood met and raised the bar. The food is soulful and fresh, staff is friendly and efficient, and you can get a craveable fried scallop basket for 13 dollars!! Go here, eat all the seafood, this place is a gem.

Do not ever eat here!! This restaurant gave me FOOD POISONING. Under any circumstances, never eat here. My husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant last night and shared a seafood boil. I ate the mussels and he did not. A few hours later, I began vomiting and have not stopped for 10 hours. Not to mention, we’re on vacation so my FOOD POISONING from this restaurant has caused to miss a whole day of vacation.

The extremely small portions of food for the amount of money is scarier than a haunted house. Once was too many times for me. Legal seafoods offers much more for the same money.

This was a wild experience. The server was not friendly. When asked about an item she said don't ask me, I don't know. She said she does not eat there. The food was salty which I overlooked and ate some anyway. The muscles were sketchy looking, but the crab legs were good. However, a few hours later I threw up several times and felt really really sick. I rarely ever throw up, but I knew it was the seafood. Just go somewhere else.

Got sick off of the fried shrimp basket. It appears the oil or shrimp may have been tainted a bit. Nothing like a good system flush...
