Mill River Winery is exactly what we were looking for. It's conveniently located (local), quaint , small enough so you don't feel unnoticed and reasonably priced for wine and cider. Everyone there is knowledgeable and very friendly. They go out their way to make you feel comfortable. There is a wide variety of wines to satisfy every taste and creative potions developed often. Special Events are held throughout the year that are informative and fun. Operating hours are very convenient and local is the only way to go. Cheers!

Just bummed to realize that we did not have to sit near the road. Otherwise, the wine was good and service very friendly

Had a great time here with some friends! We each ordered a flight of the wines and ciders, and I went home with a bottle of my favorite red. The snacks are yummy, and the staff is very kind! It was a warmer day in February so outside seating was open. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will definitely be coming back!

Great winery in a nice location. As Washingtonians used to dark reds we thought the wines were fabulous and they had great charcuterie. Great staff.

My wife and I recently did a mid-week walk-in for a wine tasting. As others have commented, the winery is quaint and in our case, the staff was attentive. We each did the $15 red wine tasting and also ordered some food. We enjoyed the wine tasting and as a result purchased a bottle of the Frontenac red wine for $26. The staff bagged the bottle for us and we were on our way. When we got home we took the bottle out of the bag and noticed that it seemed smaller than expected. We checked the label. The contents was 375 ml, which is half that of a typical 750 ml bottle of wine. I was a bit aggravated. Although we liked the wine, we would never have spent $52 dollars on a bottle of wine, which is the equivalent $26 we spent on this half bottle. I think the staff should have clearly total us that we were purchasing a half bottle.

Im so torn on this place....it's really beautiful but I wish they weren't always short staffed. Waited 40 mins to get our drinks at the vineyard. And the paper plates lol. Nooooo, why serve food/charceuterie on paper plates? It takes the experience down a few notches. This place has so much potential.

Stoped in for a quick tasting. We thought they had nice selection wines to choose from. Both the indoor tasting room and outdoor area were very nice. I especially liked the white wine we tried (Nancys Cannon)

Wine tasting and snacks are great. Gluten free options available which were great and the Cider is Yummy! We did a few of the flights being there were 4 of us and allowed us to try more options. We also had the herb dip and we all wanted to take that home. The plates were a nice size for snacks.
