Extremely disgusting buisness practice of requiring $7 minimum as I went in for a Bottle of Water before my shift and was refused service and wouldnt make an exception ( little did they know my break is right after and a few buddies of mine were planning on meeting here for lunch after but we'll be going elsewhere) save yourself the trouble

I got 2 juniors to go plain horse radish on the side. The best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The two guys working were very nice and you can tell they take it seriously. Very good. Thanks guys. Go Tigers. Love the Sox but this year the Tigers could do it. Love the Mariners too but shoot who do I cheer for? May the best team win! I’m still thinking about this sandwich a week later.

We were driving through Rowley from Maine and decided I was hungry. We stopped at Philippe’s and I was reluctant as I am gluten intolerant and said to my bf- there’s no way a small shop like this is going to have anything gluten free, besides a salad. He said I’ll go in and check. He came out, to my surprise and said they have 3 gf bread options! I went in and was thoroughly delighted to chat with the woman who explained the options (with no irritation that usually comes with having to ask gf ?’s). I deduced on an Italian wrap and oh my! I can tell you it was utterly amazing. The gentleman (I assume Phillips) warmed the huge wrap and I can honestly say it was the best Italian sandwich I’ve had since going gf. Highly recommend! 5*****. Thank you!!

Melt in your mouth roast beef.

Turkey club sandwich was good but I literally couldn’t even eat it because it’s 8 inches thick. Like come on, make it an actual sandwich so people can actually eat it… I had to deconstruct my sandwich and remake it to be able to eat it

The best place around for roast beef sandwiches in the area take my word for it. Long time customer here.
I grew up in Lynn going to Mino's so I know a good beef sandwich.
This family takes alot of pride in cooking up delicious meals, Anytime you're in the Rowley area stop by and give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Good One

I just ate what was probably the best roast beef sandwich I've had in a very long time. Super 3-way with the standard onion roll and James river, but he beef was entirely pink throughout, perfectly tender, and stacked about 5-6 inches high. 10/10

My family gets takeout from Phillips roughly every month and we have yet to be disappointed. The owners are so lovely and they cook with care. We love the chicken finger dinner, all of the buffalo chicken dishes, eggplant parm calzone, pizza, and even the roast beef sandwiches aren't bad. I wish they participated in a rewards program but that is the only negative! Great, consistent quality takeout spot for Rowley residents.

The main event is the beef itself. It is 100% pink ! Not a single shade of gray to be found. Cheese on the bottom and generous with the sauce. I promise your mind will be blown when you take a bite out of this!
