Classic subplace sandwiches all kinds small ones big ones large ones very large I've been going here almost my whole teenage life for the past 20 years .still the same very slow making the sandwiches and taking orders but once you get your sandwich you're amazed cuz everything's so fresh tastes so delicious I got the classic turkey and cheese always my go-to if you looking for a quick bite early in the day this is the best place not so quick cuz it takes a while to order cuz you have to wait in line cuz the lines always out the door

AMAZING FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT!!! My go to is the CV Tuna Sub w/mustard (mayo replacement); its made with LOVE EVERY TIME!!! CATERING ORDERS MUST BE ACQUIRED IN ADVANCED!!! They run a tight schedule; well worth the rush!!!!

This was quite and experience to get into a place that was so much loved by my residents and their surroundings community, such a simply place but great service , good food and best customer service in a store that charge on cash you get to withdraw with their ATM machine .. I had such a good time there placing my order and waiting for it . Was an amazing treat that my resident adore. Gratitude comes to mind when you see a place that has solid roots Ina community. ❤️🥰🤗

I know Ideal is like an institution in Roxbury. Finally tried it for the first time today and it was ok. I’ve had better steak and cheese elsewhere. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing on the menu, but my sub was cold. Was also surprised that my roll wasn’t toasted. Perhaps it was on me to specify. It wasn’t crowded when I went, so was also surprised at how painfully slow the service is. This is not a place to be quickly in and out of. Can’t imagine the wait during peak times. Positives are that the staff is nice and the restaurant is very clean. Glad I finally tried it, but Ideal won’t be my go-to spot.
Ordered 4 subs today at around 230 only received 3 the order was 2 steak and cheese a chkn cutlet and a ham and cheese only received 1 steak and cheese but paid for both is there a way to rectify this since you guys never answer the phone ?
