We came just after opening, the staff were super friendly despite the time of morning and the coffee and pastries were beautiful. Worth the trip if you’re in the area
Parking: 8-10 spots or so, directly out the front of the bakery

Delicious latte, sticky bun, chicken salad sandwich, chai latte + brownie & cookie. Loved the atmosphere- very relaxed. Enjoyed the service as everyone was kind and smiled. Can’t wait to visit again!

Delicious pastries and coffee?
Doesn't serve coffee.
This location on Boston st is not the same as the one downtown - it is confusing because some folks have uploaded pictures of the center st one by mistake. This location has the yummy bread, coffee, and pastries but no seating, the hours are different, and no hot food options like the paninis, sandwiches, etc. Parking is much easier. Come here if you want to buy the bread, go to the other location if you want the cafe experience and hang out.

We had the most delicious food here. Sandwiches both cold and hot and a wonderful shortbread cookie!! The ice tea was wonderful as well the apple fiz. The pickled veggies were amazing!! Location has on street parking , is handicapped accessible and takes cash or card.
My sister and I were looking for breakfast options in Salem and landed here by happenstance. All the cafes on the main strip were booked or had a ridiculously long wait. This cafe was slightly off the beaten path, beautifully decorated, and had excellent food and coffee. We got seats by the window and were pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed our breakfast sammies in peace.

We enjoyed this local cafe in Salem, just off the busy pedestrian street at the heart of the city. The staff was friendly, coffee was good and we enjoyed creative creations, before hitting the town.
This is a bakery that serves wonderful drinks (drinks with milk use Richardson's - an exceptionally good dairy) and makes great and creative sandwiches. The baking products are exceptional, with a wide variety, and besides the usual croissants, scones, muffins, tarts, pies, cakes etc also have savory foods in various baked forms. Hard to do justice to how interesting, varied and different some of the bakery items are. Good place for hanging out and eating in or take out. The staff are quite nice.
Seriously 14 % !!!
A big new sign says they are open at 7am. It's 7:55am on Saturday and they are closed. I've been trying to shop at this location for years now. Every time I go they are closed. I will never try again.
Favorite bakery in the area. I always try to visit a few times when I’m in town. Delicious for lunch and sweet/savory treats. The staff are always very friendly, too!
