We stopped here for a quick lunch and it was really fast and decent food! Almost all hotdog and grilled cheese options can be made vegan. My boyfriend got the Islandic hot dogs and they were really good I got the artichoke dip. The break with the dip was amazing and the dip itself was good but very oily and not so much "creamy"

Most delicious meal ever 😭🙌🏻 Both vegan and non-vegan. Only way it could be improved are french fries instead of potato chips 🤭

The Tokyo dog was excellent and the cocktails using apple cider were perfect for the fall vibes.

My partner & I went here last night for a cocktail & grilled cheese as the menu looked very good online. There were no tables or bar seats available when we walked in but the man checking ID’s said wait over in the corner and something will open up. We ordered drinks and stood for a short while enjoying our cocktails. We decided to just grab a grilled cheese to go. After ordering the grilled cheese through the bartender, we walked over to the jukebox to put on some songs. After selecting songs, we stood by the jukebox having our cocktails waiting for the food. The jukebox is not far from the kitchen door, we were standing across from it. A waitress came whipping past us, did not say excuse me, then she came storming past again and yelled “OH MY GOD”, I thought are we in her way?? Then she stormed past a 3rd time and glared in my face, turned at me as she was walking past and actually looked me in the eyes with the angriest look possible. I thought oh we must be in her way but still, how about excuse me?? After reading the bad reviews on here I see I’m not the only one that’s experienced the bad attitudes at this place. I also see that the owner mainly replies to bad reviews with aggression, denial, and attitude. I wonder if I was so in the way, what is it like when the bar is packed wall to wall with not even standing room, as it was the 2 other times we tried to get in here. The common theme among the low reviews of this establishment speaks volumes. The energy management puts into arguing with Google reviewers should be put into ensuring the staff is at least friendly and has simple manners. And lastly, I won’t be writing home about the grilled cheese. To echo another review, go next door to Bit Bar. Amazing staff and atmosphere there.

I've never been treated with such disrespect from an establishment. Sadly, this seems to be an extremely common occurrence because everyone we've talked to said that is normally how awful they treat their customers.

Edit: " it is illegal for an establishment to disclose how much a customer tipped, as the state's "Tips Act" protects the privacy of a customer's tip amount, meaning employers cannot reveal this information to anyone outside the business; this is outlined in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 152A.

"Right of Privacy" law, codified under Chapter 214, Section 1B of the Massachusetts General Laws, protects individuals from "unreasonable, substantial, or serious interference with their privacy," where a business publicly shares detailed information about a customer's personal buying habits without their consent.

Terrible service, rude staff. Oh and when you complain, they become more rude and more condescending.

We visited on Halloween and were happy to find that most items on the menu can be made vegan. My husband had one of their grilled cheese options and I had a Field Roast “dog” and each was really good!
The vegan spinach dip appetizer was absolutely amazing with the bread (the chips were too salty).
The drinks were delicious, the service quick and everyone was super nice despite the busy Halloween crowds.

Dietary restrictions: Almost every item on the menu can be made vegan

This place has a great vibe. We got the Rickey, a cider spritz (non alcoholic) and the pretzels with beer cheese. All of the above were tremendous! I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.

The bartenders that were there on Friday October 25th were not very friendly at all. You could tell they wanted to be anywhere but there, but the place has a really cool vibe. I liked the old school juke box and had fun playing random songs I hadn’t heard in a while.

We’ll be back, but hopefully the bartenders will act like they want us to be there, instead of treating us like we’re a nuisance for wanting to sit and have a drink during our weekend trip without kids.

A smile and basic politeness goes a long way in the restaurant business.
