My wife's eggplant was warm almost cold for what should be a hot dish. Also we've had better salads from a sub shop. Thanks

I've walked by this place hundreds of times and regret not coming in sooner. If you're looking for an incredible Italian restaurant with a Salem twist, you've found it. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

This restaurant is outstanding! As you can see, I gave all three categories five stars. The food is absolutely incredible, service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Depending on the time of year, you may have to wait a while to be seated, especially if it’s in October near Halloween. I would strongly suggest that you make a reservation if you are planning to go there during that time. Otherwise, things run very smoothly.

We had a dinner reservation for 3 on Halloween night, probably the busiest night of the year. We arrived early and were promptly seated. The place is very cute, well located, and was 1/2 full. Given that, we were surprised to wait so long for our orders to arrive. The first 2 meals to arrive were visibly overcooked so we sent them back to be redone. Then we waited some more. To make a long story short, one of us ate and liked the meal, one ultimately never got their meal, and one tried but didn't care for their meal. Usually Italian restaurants are a safe bet for us, but not this one.

The place is really cute so I was hopeful. We sat down and had to wait 10 minutes to even get waitress to come to us. Our appetizer took over 30 minutes the calamari was so overdone it was little rings of breading only. The food was mediocre and the drinks were horrible. After we got our drinks and expressed that they were t right two times, we were finally then told they had no limes but they let us order drinks that require lime and said nothing. The lady next to us had to wait 45 minutes and ask multiple times just to get a glass of water. She says everything she orders was tasteless too.

We live close to Salem and took our extended family to Antique Table last week. First of all the ambiance is amazing, so cozy, like you’re in an old Italian place with lots of history. Our waitress was so super nice and attentive, I forgot her name. To our surprise in addition to an Italian menu they had Latin American dishes. We had 6 people, so we tried dishes from both menus and everything was fantastic. There were quite a few people in the restaurant, but it was not loud. Our grandmother really appreciated that and we all could carry a conversation and hear each other. Antique Table - we will be back!

We chose Antique Table for our anniversary dinner — Italian is always our go-to, and in Massachusetts, I expected it to be top-notch. The atmosphere delivers classic Italian charm with cozy décor and family photos lining the walls. The food was excellent, and the service overall was solid. The manager, however, spent most of the evening talking with one couple and never checked in with us, which felt a bit odd. Still, the food made up for it — we’d return next time we’re in Salem.

the food was ice cold by the time we got our food, an HOUR after we ordered. The focaccia bread was nothing but white bread from the supermarket.

Came to this restaurant on a girl's trip to Salem after hearing good reviews. I don't know if the ownership changed or what be we had a horrible time here. We got there early for our reservation. Eventually sat to eat and ordered simple dishes. It took over an hour to get our food and when we did finally get it, the dishes weren't hot and we had smaller portions that definitely were not worth the price. We also ordered the focaccia bread and it came as just sliced, plain, untoasted bread without anything baked into it. They also added on a 20% gratuity which I understand October in Salem is busy but this was incredibly disappointing and we left hungry. I would caution anyone against going here.

The food was mediocre at best and the kitchen was slow, but our waitress was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is well decorated and pleasing to the eye but missed details re: cleanliness (old dirt chunks in window frames and a long the floor beneath them). The chicken picata was too heavy on the lemon, which tasted artificial, and the meatballs were topped with a cold lump of ricotta which chilled them instantly. The focaccia was nice but the presentation left something to be desired as the small strips made it difficult to discern the toppings which felt unnecessary. The lemon drop martini was excellent and the glass it was in esthetically pleasing. Would recommend for drinks not food.

The place should decide what type of Menu type it has since it indicates Italian Restaurant but its not its part Italian, Part Mexican, and Part Peruvian cuisine. The place needs to be an uplift, the walls look like its been too humid, paint peeling off, the art frames and canvass ripped and need cleaning to include food off the frames. The appetizers were good but small and deceiving - for example a focaccia bread was warmed up sliced bread with onion topping, a request for well done for the Lomo Montado was not well done (still pink) and the waitress didnt know that the item was on the menu. The linguini with shrimp scampi wasnt linguini but an angel hair pasta which defeated the whole menu item. Somewhat disappointed.
