My daughter and I went here for dinner one night during our trip to Salem because they had some vegan options. It looks like a super fun place. Neither of us are super into gaming so we didnt play anything but it did look fun. I know my husband, who hadn't come with us, would have loved it. They had a few arcade games, air hockey, skeeball (i think), and pinball. If you want to sit down and have dinner they have tables but we also noticed some people just standing hanging out by the bar having drinks. The hit of the night was at each table they had these light up tetris blocks and you fit them together to make each one light up. My 12 year old was obsessed. It was a super fun thing to do while at the table waiting for food. The food was just ok. It was basic bar food, nothing amazing, but perfectly fine. It was nice that they had a decent amount of vegan options. We really enjoyed it and would go back if we were ever in Salem again.
Delicious and fast! We got a bunch of apps to share and they were all so good. Recommend the truffle grilled cheese bites.

Came here to escape the cold winds and found ourselves a great time! The arcade games were a blast and I love all the pinball machines! The food was so good and the Downeast Cider- Caramel Apple was so delicious!! Best cider I’ve had since I’ve been up here!! I forgot our waiter’s name but he had black hair and all black contacts in. He was amazing and a cool dude! I definitely recommend coming here!

So much fun! We ended up visiting 3 times while I'm Salem. We stopped in for a drink between tours and learned about a drag show they were hosting. The Drag Show with Diamond was a total blast! We had so much fun. We went back on our last night in Salem for a drink, when ordering drinks they offered us 3 cups of tokens since it was our last night. We ended up staying until close playing arcade games that brought me back to my childhood. Highly recommend

Whenever my friends come to visit Salem, I always make sure we get some drinks and play games at Bit Bar!!! Shoutout to bartenders Melissa & Michael, who seriously bring the energy and fun to the room.
They have a fun and creative cocktail menu that features relevant/seasonal drinks. I got the Basic Witch, which is essentially an AMAZING boozy pumpkin iced coffee. And another drink i cannot member the name of, but it had pea flower tea and a flower on top! I love fun garnish!!! Both were delicious and I am going to be back for trivia!!!!

On a tour and we get to this place I have my ID and so does my wife but my friend doesn’t have hers honestly appreciate it but really no one here is underage
and we can’t go in denied and the guy at the front is the rudest person. I go inside and get two beers for myself and come out to give me a lecture as I’m letting you hangout like I’m some 21 year old kid. Trash establishment this is how you treat paying customers and patrons.

Never one to leave reviews, but I am in hopes that it could potentially help a business do better. My family and I went to Bit Bar specifically because they had a few vegan options and we were excited to try them out. When we went, it was not very busy, only a few tables and folks at the bar. Service was slow, but the environment was cool so we were excited. Unfortunately, the problem arose when we ordered specifically only vegan food. I am vegan, and my mom has a severe dairy allergy, so we ordered the vegan nachos and pretzel sticks. the pretzel sticks were great, but after a few bites, we realized the nachos were most definitely not vegan.
Honestly, people make mistakes and thats fine, its about how you correct the mistake. I informed our waiter that it was wrong, which she apologized for (kind of) and said she would have the vegan nachos out soon. I could have made a HUGE deal out of this cause hey, thats a huge mess up. My mom luckily barely ate any of it, but if she had eaten more, our day would have looked a lot different.
When the waiter went to take the nachos, i tried to make the situation better and said that my sister could eat them, and then no one would have to waste the food, to which she replied that she would have to charge me for them then…. yeah because that makes sense. so i said no, i wont be paying for something that i didnt ask for, and that was not my fault, so i guess into the trash they went.
We planned on ordering more drinks and food, but this really ruined it for us. I am a server as well, and could list a million ways i would have tried to fix the situation. because that is not only hurting someones values, but severely putting a health concern at risk. Im not one to beg, or even expect any kind of hand out. but a discount, or added game tokens, or even a better apology genuinely would have made us feel better. Everyone has bad days and mess ups, but unfortunately the problem wasnt handled well at all.

We ended up at a poetry slam? Solo artist? Night that wasn't quite the vibe. And the Dankey Kang drink was banana and good- until I found a black hair in my drink. The line was too long to go back and get it remade, though I know they would've as the bar service was kind.

An excellent choice if you want great drinks and a little bit of entertainment. This place is full of some great older arcade games including Galaga, Simpsons, NBA Jam, and plenty of pinball games.

This is a review for the patrons, not the drinks. My group experienced targeted harassment from a highly intoxicated group of women who appeared determined to manufacture a reason to have my male friend ejected from the venue.
The incident was shocking because the malicious intent was so clear. This wasn't accidental bumping or loud chatter; this was a deliberate, spiteful effort by drunk individuals to cause trouble and disrupt our evening, openly making up claims and escalating tensions with the clear goal of causing harm to someone's reputation and night out.
While the staff eventually contained the situation, the level of unchallenged hostility we faced for a prolonged period was completely unacceptable. If you cannot maintain a basic standard of safety and prevent patrons from actively harassing and trying to get others kicked out, you are failing your customers.
The experience ended with a surreal twist: after their attempts, one of the aggressors awkwardly cornered my other friend (who was not the target) to issue a mumbled apology, acknowledging their behavior was driven purely by their drunken, spiteful mindset. This bizarre moment of regret does little to erase the feeling of being actively targeted and harassed in a public space.
Warning: Be advised that this establishment tolerates highly intoxicated, aggressive, and manipulative behavior among its patrons. If you are not looking for a confrontational night out, choose a different spot.

I am writing this review to warn future patrons about the extremely toxic and hostile environment we experienced due to a group of deeply intoxicated individuals, and the establishment's failure to intervene effectively.
My friend and I were attempting to enjoy a drink when a group of women nearby, who were clearly very drunk and acting aggressively, decided to target my male friend. Their behavior was not merely loud or annoying; it was calculated harassment. They were actively and loudly attempting to fabricate a situation designed to get him removed from the premises, seemingly driven by a malicious intent due to their impaired state. They were actively wishing to cause a scene and damage someone else's evening.
The level of hostility and the direct attempts to cause harm were genuinely unsettling. It was distressing to witness patrons deliberately try to ruin someone's night and cause trouble with such aggressive conviction.
The management or security staff was either slow to respond or ineffective in de-escalating the situation, allowing this toxic harassment to continue for a disturbing amount of time. It should not be the responsibility of other patrons to endure or navigate such spiteful behavior.
The night ended in a truly bizarre fashion when one of the women, seemingly sobering up enough to realize the gravity of her actions, approached my friend (who, thankfully, was never actually removed) and offered an awkward, remorseful apology. While an apology is better than none, it does not excuse the previous malicious intent or the management's failure to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
If you are looking for a relaxing or safe night out, I strongly recommend avoiding this bar until they demonstrate that they can control or remove patrons who pose a threat or actively seek to cause trouble for others. The staff's inaction in the face of targeted harassment is unacceptable.

Ok both times I’ve been here the bartenders are so pleasant and friendly. Ive had two mezcal based cocktails and they were both memorable. I played crazy taxi awhile tonight while singing Lady Gaga at the top of my lungs. 10/10.
