Absolutely aweful service, this is marinara sauce , cheese calzone uncooked, no ricotta cheese. Barbecue sauce not barbecue. Overall terrible. Time wait was over an hour for food. SKIP THIS ONE. Manager was not helpful either didn’t even see an issue and didn’t try to fix issues.

The worst experience I've ever had dining. Not only did we wait for 45 for the chef to START making our food (I saw them rolling the pizza and the waitress told them to stop once we said we're leaving) but once we were waiting at the 40 min mark we asked the waitress how long it would be and she was extremely rude. She literally said "Yea, so what?" I'm sorry but if you look like that, the least you could do is not be rude, because you need something going for you at the very least (talking to you red haired waitress)! We ended up leaving and going to Essex pizza. Also, the beer my husband ordered was wrong! The saving grace was that the manager was super respectful and kind and told us he would take one of the items off our tab but at this point they wanted us to wait longer and they hadn't even started making our food. We ordered burgers and pizza, nothing fancy.

Went for half price burgers, meat was a good cut and well seasoned. A pleasure to watch the woman being a boss! on the grill. Good wine pour. Brian, the manager I believe, was a pleasure to chat with
Parking: Counter is located on Essex Street Pedestrian Mall, so parking is a block or 2 away. Note: Parking on city streets or lots is paid 8am-8pm 7 days a week.

We came in for dinner and had really tasty wings, smashed burgers, and a few drinks. The atmosphere was casual so we were able to hold conversations, relax, and just enjoy our meal together. The food came out in a timely manner without any problems. Our server, Chloe, was super friendly and helpful. The manager, Murph, also checked in with us and even gave us a quick history of the Salem Santa/Tree lighting happenings, when we wondered about the hoard of people wandering by outside. Overall, it was a comfortable, no-hassle dining experience.

I was able to get a spot at the bar and while my server was very nice, others behind the counter not much so. Also, I saw many staff including the waitress use their hands to put chips or other food on plates without gloves or washing. Overall a nice place but the staff could use some training.

Great place to eat, friendly staff but i was on the bar area and the was some guys next to me talking so dirty i ask to be moved to a regular table but there was non available. The food was great the flatbread pizza was on point and the chicken soup was a 10+

Arrived at the Counter 10 minutes before reservation with two business clients to find it totally empty. After a few minute wait with no one to greet us I went to the Hotel Salem concierge desk. I was told the Counter was not open yet and service on the rooftop did not begin until 12:00. I showed the concierge my three texts verifying my 10:00 reservation and he apologized and stated he would inform the powers that be this “computer error”. Of course, I was embarrassed and wasted time with my clients. As of yet, I have not heard from anyone and feel angered at how they wasted my time.

Everything was fantastic! I stayed at the hotel, so I got a little discount on the food. I had the pulled pork flat bread. So delicious!!! Paired with the Salem Mimosa and the ginger/pomegranate Mimosa. Amazing all around including the service.

I came here during my vacation with my family. I ordered the veggie burger and was blown away by how delicious and flavorful it was! I made everybody at my table try a bite, raved to the staff, and I have talked about it since coming back to Florida. I can't wait to go back up north next fall just to have that burger again!! Besides that delicious burger the staff was amazing and very kind!
Amazing Old Bay Shrimp Fries. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Service here is rough. When you walk in they have this pleading look like, "please don't eat here." The menu is minimal, which isn't a bad thing. Unless you can't do the one thing you're trying to do. Spitfire tacos is about 5 mins away on foot; do yourself the favor of walking there instead.

This was an AMAZING way to kickstart our honeymoon. The cilantro sour cream crema was INCREDIBLE and the staff was so incredibly polite and professional. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. 5 STARS, 0 COMPLAINTS, 2 VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
