Stopped in to Dotty and Rays Diner only because it is the oldest diner in Salem…Food ,Service and Breakfast was very good and I recommend this diner to anyone …..

Chocolate chip pancakes are amazing. So much that you don't need any syrup.
Be warned, plates are big, like sharing big.

Love the homey atmosphere! You can tell everything is homemade with love patty melt on rye was delicious as was the hash skillet and eggs over hash. The seasonal pumpkin pancake was also great 10/10 would recommend and come again. Street parking only so keep your eyes peeled for a spot.

Our server Mary was excellent. She had a great personality and made our dining fun. The food was incredible. We all had leftovers the portions were so big. I recommend them to everybody and next time I visit Salem I’ll be visiting there again. Props to the cooks. My homemade hash was amazing!

Great little mom and pop shop diner! Food is amazing, we came back twice for breakfast so far being in Salem. Staff is also great and attentive, especially Mary! Highly recommend this spot for breakfast.
