My husband and I sat at the bar Saturday night, and Tawna waited on us. She was so nice and efficient, and made Michael a Cosmo. For me, she made one of their special holiday drinks called "A Partridge in a Pear Tree," which had Absolute pear vodka and Prosecco in it. We shared a side of their famous onion rings and baked scallops casserole, topped with Ritz crackers, for dinner. It was delicious and plentiful. It came with two sides, so we had their fresh broccoli and wedge salad (iceberg lettuce & tomatoes), which Tawna brought out before the entree, which was great! This quaint neighborhood bar/restaurant, which has been around since 1961, was also festively decorated. They hung garland and lights from their ceiling, which looked awesome.

Fast, friendly service. Amazing food. Definitely a hidden gem. The fish sandwich was fantastic. I'll definitely be ordering that again!

Great food and great prices. Fried seafood dinners are large enough to share. Best onion rings around!

What a wonderful place to go get food. Went with my family was able to get a table no wait. The waitress was very friendly. The food was so delicious! Wish I lived closer.

The portion sizes are great. The food isn't overcooked - though my whole family did get sick the next day, so maybe undercooked? There's a long wait to get in, and the place has high ratings, which really disappointed me for how our food came out.

The food had the flavor of cardboard. It's extremely unfortunate since the seafood was moist and juicy, but somehow, they managed to make it completely flavorless, I didn't know that was physically possible. Everything needed a healthy serving of salt and be smothered in sauce to be tolerable, except their onion rings, which still needed salt.

I use a cane, yet they seated us in an area that made me almost fall twice, trying to get between empty tables to the table they seated us at. Our table wasn't anywhere close to level. You could roll quarters down the thing with very little effort, and our waitress ignored us several times when we were trying to call her over.

Overall - do not recommend

Visiting Salem with my mother, we were on the hunt for fresh seafood. Dube’s is the definition of hole-in-the-wall: if you didn’t know where it was, you would drive right past, as it looks like just a regular house in a residential neighborhood. Inside there is a full bar and plenty of booths. For a weekday around noon it was pretty busy. Our waitress was friendly and helped point out things on the menu. We got a large order onion rings which turned out to be a MASSIVE portion for only $11. We also ordered the fried oyster po’boy and a side order of fried haddock. The po’boy was packed with more shredded lettuce and tomatoes than I have ever seen on a sandwich before. The roll was absolutely overflowing with perfectly crispy fried oysters. The fried haddock was so flaky and tender, and their homemade tartar sauce was outstanding. For the price we got a massive amount of seafood, definitely enough to take home. Dube’s is the real deal seafood and I know I will be back again soon.

On Tuesday, 5/20/25, it was my First time dining here at this establishment with my girlfriend; I ordered here in the past. The food was very GOOD and very FRESH! I recommend this establishment for anyone who wants to have a nice seafood dinner, with great customer service personnel.

Just came back from eating a dinner at Dube’s with a friend. My phone opened up to this Page since I had called earlier. This is the first time I have ever written a restaurant review but felt the urge to say what a pleasant all round experience, Dube’s provided. Everything tonight there was clean, warm feeling and wonderful. The food, our waitress, the ambience (even the restroom) were great. Their comfortable, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere was also reflected in their customers no matter what the age was. It was a very enjoyable Saturday evening

MY FIRST TIME AT DUBE'S AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE. THE BEST FRIED CLAMS AND BAKED HADDOCK I HAVE EVER HAD. VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. OUR WAITRESS ERIN WAS AWESOME. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN...

Very friendly staff, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The fried scallops and onion rings were perfect and not greasy at all. The mini order of onion rings is the size of most restaurants large. The side of scallops with cole slaw was huge. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I was in town for a few days. Brought my lil cousin to see my school, Salem State University and then toured the Peabody Essex Museum. Of course I couldn't conclude the date without so much as a seafood platter. Dube's Seafood was the awesomest... ?
