The cider was predominately on the sweet side. They did have a Hocus Pocus flight, in theme for Salem in October. The New England Cider and the Hopped cider are more dry. I appreciated those more than the sweet.

After walking 8 miles in Salem we stopped in and had a Hocus Pocus Cider flight. This place is a whole vibe super chill.

Ciders were semi-sweets, especially the hocus pocus flight, which was on point for a Salem Halloween themed visit. The So Below was their best, almost a fruity wine taste.
Unfortunately their offerings of what they sell so you can take home was very limited. They had none of the hocus pocus flight canned for sale and won't split up the above/below ciders even though it's due to an allergy. Just sad I couldn't take any of these ciders home with me to share.

I’m not a big cider person but these were super good - plus they have a sick Sanderson’s sister design for some of their merch lol

I'm not sure what what happened, the environment was so artistic, the cider was so original. They painted the place millennial white and went with money making Hocus Pocus named drinks, removed all plants and anything that gave the place character. Their staple dry cider is as good as ever and sure you can get tipsy and walk back to the center of Salem to wander through the crowd but what happened to the craft cider place we grew to love? Where did the weird go?

Ever since discovering far from the tree a few years ago, it has been our go to wherever in Salem.

Their eclectic vibe and amazing ciders, paired with great pop-up food events are always a great time.

If you're in the Boston/Salem area andbenjoy new and exciting ciders, then Far From the Tree is the place to go!

Stopped in here for some cider and got the samplers of the blue - raspberry, light blue cotton candy, MA crisp apple, and red- sour cherry and I was not disappointed. These were some of the most flavorful ciders I had and I’m not going to lie, I got a bit tipsy. It’s a bit outside of the touristy area but the police station is nearby so don’t be a wimp and stop in. It’s a must while in Salem!
