One of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. The waitress barely paid attention, the food was completely flavorless, and the noise level was so unbearable we could hardly stand to stay. Nothing about this visit was enjoyable, and we will never be returning
The view and ambience can't be beat. We always like the fresh grilled fish and sauce/spice options. The same potato and vegetable sides grow tedious after frequently dining here. Some more options for sides would be a great addition to a favorite spot.
So happy to have found this place. We enjoyed our food, server and atmosphere. Will be coming here again
With reservations we still had to wait for our food and drinks to arrive, overall would not recommend
Excellent as always! We got several apps including P.E.I. Mussels, Crab Cakes, Shrimp Cocktail, and Shrimp Tempura Sushi. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and great portions. Drinks and the view were excellent. I love Finz and will be back again. Great night by the water with one of my favorite people!
Too noisy. Difficult to carry on a conversation without raising your voice. Disappointed in calamari (small, overcooked). Overall, food good.
We had a delicious dinner. Service was excellent! It was definitely quite busy, and lively.
To start, there was definitely some confusion and took multiple staff members to figure out if we could be moved out of the direct sunlight to a table right next to us under a shade. I understand the potential of it being held for a reservation, but that wasn't the case and it just took multiple people to understand why we wanted to move and then figure out if they could move us. The hot buttered lobster roll was barely buttered and lacked any flavor. Mostly everything needed salt, tbh. Everything else was average food not necessarily worth the money.
Finz was hopping for a Monday night, and the noise level was high. The wait staff was friendly and service was top notch. They work hard to please and it was greatly appreciated by our group of 5. We tried the Street Corn appetizer (delicious) along with the warm sourdough bread and butter. Three people ordered Finz lobster sushi (they were delighted with it), another ordered New England seafood stew and swapped quinoa for linguine and fra diavolo to spice it up. He loved it! I had the swordfish with lemon herb vinaigrette and mixed vegetables and red bliss potatoes. The swordfish was delicious and super fresh. The drinks were well mixed and potent. Very pretty presentation. Finz is always good, and the only complaint I have heard about the food is the paella dish. The people who ordered it in my presence all disliked it and two of them agreed that it tasted like old bandaids. Upon further discussion they thought it may be the chorizo sausage.
The food was fantastic! The oysters from the raw bar were so good I ordered them twice!! Excellent service-wish I could remember her name. She was awesome. Would definitely god back.

I was disappointed with the location of our table. We were a party of 6 and the reservation was made about a month prior to arrival. We were seated by a window, which was lovely, except that the other side of our table was adjacent to the door to the outside deck. Patrons, wait staff, food runners, and those responsible For seating guests we're back and forth throughout our meal. A couple of times someone from our table almost crashed into someone going through the door! Not fun to have to check all sides around you before going to the rest room. The restaurant was full so I did not ask for a different table. All other aspects of the vending met or exceeded expectations.
Our meals were great, and we loved the outside views of beautiful Salem Harbor. We loved it so much I even bought a T-shirt that I'm wearing as I'm writing this review. We will definitely be back
Oysters were really good...some of the best, but my God were they expensive. Be sure to ask market price.
The sushi was just OK in my opinion.
Still a nice restaurant on the water that provides a fun view of the wharf.
This sushi was the BEST i’ve had in MA. Nothing comes close. Out of all of the islands i have ever been too even this place has surpassed. James is the best bartender I have ever had and he made this experience 10 times better. I will be back over and over again. For the sushi and the service.
Excellent fish restaurant, loved the fish tacos, would recommend.
