Got a starter of gyoza and bowl of pork ramen. The ramens base was extremely good, thee rolled pork, bok choy, naruto, and bits of corn all paired really well with one another.

Decent spot. Loved the variety in the menu. Definitely need to go back to try more things.

If we could give this 0 stars we would. We traveled to Salem for the day and were craving some comfort food and this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The chicken ramen and lo mein were both slimey. Our son’s chicken fingers —the chicken was so old. I wouldn’t complain about these prices if the food was decent—good Asian fusion is worth a great price. And the fact that is place was awful and served what they served and these are their prices. Absurd. Yuck! The crab Rangoon was ok. Nothing special. The atmosphere was ok. Nothing special. The waitstaff was fine-nothing special. We were expecting something really good—since it was in the heart of Salem. So disappointing.

Had the Cajun butter crab legs and shrimp. It was cooked well and delicious. I’ve eaten a lot of viet Cajun and it can be over cooked or the seafood can taste old. I was pleasantly surprised. Hope this place stays around because I love this style of dining and it’s hard to find. Dim Sum was also good.

Some of the best crispy spring rolls I've had around the north shore. Also very pleased with the high quality of the $1.25 Saturday oyster special! Very kind

Went with a group nov 10th because we were determined to find crab legs and this seemed to be the only place that had them. They seemed short staffed- there was a wait and our booth was still dirty when we got sat. We had to wipe crumbs and mystery liquid off our seats and table. We ordered crab legs, and they arrived cold. Some clusters were slightly warm but over half of our food was straight up cold- technically room temp because the restaurant was a little chilly. However, the garlic butter was delicious and we were so hungry that we just ate it- our server seemed overwhelmed and should have had more help from her coworkers. She didn’t check on us at all until we were almost done. I think she had 4 other booths of people to deal with.I’ve literally never gotten cold food from a restaurant before this. It was a shocking experience for the price we paid for our food, but at least it gave us something to laugh about.

Grabbed the chicken tenders for a quick bite. $14 for something that tastes like two day old McDonald’s chicken is a bit of a ripoff. Food was very underwhelming. They also didn’t bring out honey mustard ( as requested) or spicy sauce. My girlfriend got the egg scallion fried rice which is more bland than a hospital waiting room from the 1970’s. Not to mention, they gave her a shovel for a spoon ( almost literally). Please avoid and save your money. There are better choices in Salem. The real estate that is occupied by this building will be much better used as another Dunkin’ Donuts on top of the already 50,000 of them in Massachusetts.

WOW! This place was surprisingly one of the only places without a line out the door but have to mention I think they deserve one. We got in so quickly received a table within seconds of walking in to the establishment. Service was extremely fast but food was fresh and hot! I almost gave the food 4 stars because their ramen was OK not bad at all not the best thing I've ever had, I wasn't really in the mood for Ramen to be fair too it was more my husbands call but I gave the food 5 stars because their sushi and pork buns...TO DIE FOR. We got a second order of the Pork buns because they were just that good! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Salem, the overall experience and food were fabulous!!

My family of 5 flew in from Florida to experience Salem for Halloween holiday. We had been walking around and weren’t use to the cold so, decided to stop at Ginger to grab some warm ramen soups.Once we arrived we noticed that we were sitting at the table for quite awhile and had not yet been greeted by our waitress. A few moments more and she approached our table, waved her phone at me as if to say “sorry I’m on the phone” apologized and then walked away. Awhile more later - she finally showed up to take our drink and food orders. After that we never saw her again. I believe she was busy talking on the phone. It was not busy at that moment in the restaurant. My husband asked the bar tender if he would be able to refill our drinks (parents and kids.) He said he’d let our waitress know. When she still did not come back another 15 minutes later, we asked the bar tender again, and this time he helped us out. He also ended up being the one to cash us out. The waitress did make a last stop as we were heading out- but it was too late by then. They added an automatic 20% gratuity because it was the month of October. I sure hope the bar tender got the bulk majority of it since he was running extra time to wait her tables for her.The experience would’ve been a lot better had the waitress put the phone away and tended to the tables. Weren’t not really picky at dining establishments and this sadly was the only poor review I’ve left during our time in Salem.

I recently dined at Ginger Restaurant in Salem, MA, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The waitress was incredibly non-attentive, making us feel neglected throughout the meal. To add to the frustration, refills were charged at full price, which felt like an unnecessary cash grab. The food was also subpar, lacking the flavors and quality we expected. To top it off, they added a 15% gratuity to our bill in October, which left a bitter taste in our mouths. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the lackluster service, food quality, and pricing practices.

We ate here on a Sunday night. Our server was very friendly and funny. We ordered a half dozen oysters, the California and spicy tuna maki, lobster ramen, and chicken lettuce wraps. The food was decent; however, the lobster ramen left something to be desired. For $25, it had two chunks of meat in it and less than the equivalent of half of a tail. It was bland and honestly, overpriced. We never received our chicken lettuce wraps but it wasn’t on the bill so I assume that the server forgot to ring them in. We had multiple people check on us until we were finished eating, at which point our server was nowhere to be found. Our bill was over $100 with a 20% gratuity already added for a party of 3….questionable.

Cold restaurant. There were two staff in the front of house. The woman sat people, took orders for all the tables, and did the bartenders. The dude behind the bar did nothing but talk to one couple about magic the gathering for 45 minutes and made fun of the servers accent. My food was cold and 15 minutes later than the rest of my table.

This place is not it if you are looking for flavor. Ramen was basic with thinly slices of lobster, the kids fries were cold, you are paying $15-18 for a small plate pineapple fried rice again no flavor. We did not try the sushi, but our table had a variety of food (very little) and everyone complain about the quality of the food. EXPENSIVE for no reason at all. I was upset seeing such a high bill for bad quality off and very little of it. Oh dont get me started with lettuce wrap! what is that?

It was cold inside, the food looked like it was sitting out for a while and they just heated it up, the bartender completely ignored what I was saying because a friend of his walked in and he was showing to much public display of affection.. the bartender picked up his friend and walked off VERY RUDE! And some man was screaming in my ear next to me in a different language and YES he worked there.. not impressed..BUT the bartender made a good ginger ale:))
