Delicious food, nice outdoor ambiance and lovely staff! Belgium waffle with whipped cream and berries, lumberjack breakfast, crispy bacon, scrumptious lattes (we got the coconut cream latte) all perfect. The patio is dog friendly and the staff are welcoming, affirming and friendly! Will come back!

I visited Salem this week for two days. My friend and I went back to Gulu 3x for drinks. The staff is inviting and attentive. The vibes were fun and made you feel welcome. I definitely recommend. We had a lobster tail pastry for the first time and I definitely recommend! My friend loved their nitro beer on special and I loved their Gulu Mai Tai.

No wait and the service was alright, they were pretty busy and only seemed to have 1 server so she was running around and doing a good job juggling everything. The food was good, not amazing but still enjoyable. Not too expensive, either.

We were at Gulu-Gulu today and we did not enjoy our visit. The waitress was not friendly and the drinks we ordered was nothing to brag about but I do recommend Blackcraft the staff was so awesome and the drink my daughter got was amazing tasting.

Since my last outing at The Gulu Gulu Cafe, a lot has come up in my mind. After much consideration, I have come to a realization.
I will no longer be performing or patronizing at the Gulu Gulu Cafe. In good consciousness, I cannot support a place that keeps a staff member on that openly makes customers and staff uncomfortable and makes fun of their open mic guests behind their backs. Incredibly disappointing.
This is not slander or hazing. Just an expression of my frustration that a once fine and fun establishment has degenerated into a toxic environment because of one extremely bad apple that has ruined it all for the rest of us.
Until that “apple” is totally removed and, even better, forbidden from the premises, I will not set foot in that establishment again.

All the staff were super nice. During peak season lunch hours, the waiters were overwhelmed and missed our table. When they got to us they were really nice and apologetic and comped our drinks. A very kind response to a reasonable mix-up. The food came quickly after we ordered and it was great! Thanks to the staff and happy October!

We did not have to wait for a table, we went at the end of September before the big rush. I think the food was good for the price that it was. Service was friendly, bathrooms were clean.
