Very cool speakeasy — you enter through a side door, get ID’d, and head downstairs into a moody, spooky vibe that totally fits Salem. It definitely feels like a hidden spot. The only downside is the lack of seating — maybe 30 spots total. My wife and I waited a few minutes for a table, but someone cut in front of us, so we ended up leaving. We’d probably give it another try, but the setup makes it tough to enjoy if you can’t sit.

I wouldn't call this a speakeasy. It was a dirty, basement bar. We came in & sat for a good 15 minutes with no acknowledgement & no service, & it was a night it wasn't very busy with several open seats. Ok to skip this place on your next night out.

This is a speakeasy, when the red light above the door, down the alley is on, they are open. The one time we visited, we had a great time. There was free comedy show, that was great! The host, Allie was soo funny. Numerous drink options and food are available. The bar is big and there are various other seating options, high tops, couches, and chairs. The place was packed around 7 and into the evening.

Hands down our favorite find in Salem!! 50 cent wing deal on Wednesdays and open mic comedy… unmatched. Food and drinks were great. The service was spot on as well. I believe the bartenders were both Sean. Definitely recommend!

Sooooooo cute!! Such a calming and relaxing vibe with perfectly crafted drinks! I recommend barbosas apple! Very nice music and calming atmosphere. Food serves til about 9pm drinks go til 11. We didn’t want to be rude and order a meal late night so we each had a drink and moved on. Super cozy and if I wasn’t hungry and thinking of the staff I would have stayed all night. This is the epitome of a Salem bar and you need to stop by and atleast get a drink. NOTE FOR NEW COMERS!! Hallowed ground is DOWNSTAIRS while the main restaurant is upstairs

I came here Sunday night and the live music was great, the guys were super friendly and overall it was a very nice time. Service was great too and the drinks were amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
Brian and Elliott really made my Sunday with their amazing music. They are really magical. If you have any free time don’t miss the set.
