The noise is overbearing The tables are close together and it's hard to have a conversation There was a large party of women at the bar and we were right behind them at our table it spoiled our evening Food was good and I probably won't hurry back

This restaurant was so so good. They make their pasta every morning in house, and the texture was perfection. The popovers were so good we started to count how many left the kitchen, and in the two hours we were there, 12 orders of them came out. It was my birthday the day we went, the team was so nice, and I would eat there again in a heartbeat! Maggie was our waitress, and she was perfect!

This was our second visit. Dare I say our expectations exceeded our first visit . Pork belly Popovers, and butternut squash Arancini were incredible. Entrees were Asian style Osso Bucco , husband and daughter got the cod with butternut squash pure and eggplant capanata , all delectable! Dessert was chocolate panna Cotta . Yum ! Any was our server she was excellent!! Can't wait until our next visit !!

Honestly this place is gorgeous and a great historical piece but that’s about all it’s got going on. This place is reservation only AND was not busy at all but still took forever to get our order in and when our order finally came out the waitress came by ince the entire time and then dropped off our check. Now the food is also subpar for an “esteemed restaurant” now I’m not picky nor a super prestigious meal eater but I got the shrimp cocktail and was very disappointed to see 5 shrimp pieces lain on a plate, not in a cocktail glass or over ice but flat on a plate and it was 20 DOLLARS thats 4 dollars a shrimp. They were super tough and felt frozen. My girlfriend got the pork tenderloin and was also let down. It was super salty and the bacon with the side of Brussels sprouts was hardly chewable. The pork chop needed a big side of water to get down and the shrimp was just plain and average. All around it was a $60+ tab and was hardly worth it. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else.

This place definitely lives up to the hype online. It's definitely a bit pricier for the area, but 100% worth it. I came in September and got the bolognese, popovers, and s'mores desert tart, and they were all amazing. The bolognese was probably the best bolognese I've ever had.
I made a reservation here for two in mid-September, but it wasn't really necessary as they were not as busy as I expected for that time of year.

The menu is very small, but the food is of good quality and price.

One of the most delicious Eggs Benedict I've ever had.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Though it did take an extra–ordinary length of time to receive the check post meal.

The cod was delicious and my son got the steak. He devoured his plate entirely. Our server deserves a raise and she was extra helpful. The atmosphere was great. 😊

It was a few days after Halloween and we were looking for some place for Sunday Brunch to take family (from out of town) to. Food was great, drinks were awesome! The online pictures of the interior made it look a little more high-end, but the tavernesque atmosphere was a lot more fun! We had a great time with great food with great company. Would love to return. 👻🎃🍸

We had Sunday brunch and it was delicious. There were a variety of menu options while keeping it small. We were celebrating my best friend's birthday and the server brought over a small bowl of donut holes on a tray with “Happy Birthday” written in icing and a candle. It made the occasion very special with such a kind, simple gesture. The service was excellent and the ambience was right on. We were visiting from Florida but will definitely go back next time we are in Salem.
