After a few visits, I’ve found this location far inferior to the Boston locations. Hummus plate in Boston is fresh and amazing, here you get some dry pita chips. A smoothie here is barely blended, whole fruit floating about. Still better than other options in Salem though!

For a "healthy" food place, there are barely any options without SOY in it if you have such an allergy. They had to remove almonds from a dish due to same & had nothing to replace it with yet charge the same amount. Plus the place is filthy, large cracks in tables filled with crumbs & food. Then staff even at peak hour uses a main window table as a desk, leaves computer etc hence customers can't sit there. The Boston location far exceeds this location. Quite disappointed overall.

I have always loved Life Alive. The food is fresh and delicious and healthy. Most recently though, I order my bowl and add avocado but the avocado is always missing and I have to call and go back or ask for it again if I'm there. Also, the tamari sauce is not there. Either they forget it or there's a small teaspoon of it in one spot. I use to taste it throughout. They don't mind raising prices but skimp on the food. My sister used to frequent Life Alive but refuses to go back.

Delicious! So many vegan and non-vegan options. You could come for breakfast or lunch/dinner and a snack or smoothie break as well!

So good! The bowls are a work of art. Fresh, tasty, healthy food served in funky, comfortable atmosphere. Can’t wait for the next trip back.

We love Life Alive. All of their food and drinks have allergens and, if applicable, vegetarian labels. Everything is fresh and delicious. You get a lot of fresh greens and produce in every item. The place is also great for eating alone, on a date or in a big group. There are multiple seating options. If you order for pick-up, there is an Uber Eats/DoorDash designated area. Besides their great food, you can smoothies and other blended drinks. Just don't expect anything to be overly sweet, as natural sugars are the only sweeteners at this eatery.Vegetarian options: All meals that are vegetarian are clearly indicated.

Food: “The Romantic” (added chipotle tofu to make it more filling) wrap was AMAZING. With additional hot sauce, some nutritional yeast, this was SO good.Definitely the best breakfast/hot wrap I’ve ever had. Also, their hot sauce is amazing!Service: Workers were super kind, friendly, definitely a different vibe (seemed more relaxed) than the workers in Boston.Ambiance: The main detractor was that the bathrooms didn’t have paper towels, which I found a bit odd, as I try to not touch the bathroom door handles when leaving (i.e. use a paper towel to cover it), but I felt like this was quite unhygienic. Also, I recall a lot of the Life Alive locations in Boston also don’t have paper towels which is a bit… discouraging (in terms of hygiene).Additionally, another detractor in comparison with the other Boston locations was that this store was COLD. I understand it’s a very cold Boston winter, but I felt this location was WAAAY colder than the Boston locations, where is the central heating?Other than that, the restaurant is really spacious, lots of natural light, and it’s pretty and colorful!

Menu on yelp needs to be updated for this location - many dishes are no longer available- including signature dishes. Nice ambiance, but dishes were served a significant time apart. Willing to give another shot.

The last two times I have visited the Salem Life alive and been given inconsistant orders from previous visits. once today and once a week ago. Having ordered the Adventurer dish many times in the past, I have been happy with the quality and quantity of food. But these last two times were an adventure. A week ago ,there was plenty of food but sweet potato was also added which does not come with that dish and today the dish was half full with maybe two pieces of broccoli and a smigeon of kale and maybe one tamari almond. Anyway employee Brian came to the rescue and added more kale and brocolli. I guess i will have to have my antennae up next time I visit Lifealive Salem.
