A cute clean spot with a nice selection of food items. The staff are friendly but the coffee is blah. Do not order the cafe au lait. It is undrinkable.

Food was acceptable, although pastries were dry. The real issue was that there are no ceramic plates or mugs, so absolutely everything is served on cardboard that goes straight into the garbage.... so sad....

Visit on 03.24.24I entered as the in store music was playing David Bowie, so things started out great. The menu joked I would need a knife and fork for my biscuit. Not kidding. Worth it.

It was just OK. I was disappointed when I went on St Patricks day. There wasent anything in the spirit of the Holiday for my guests. There, other desserts were not disappointing, though.

If you’re a fan of fantastic, locally owned businesses, this is a gem. This was my first trip to Salem and locals suggested this bakery. I went in on a rainy Sunday morning, and Jim the Conner could not have been more cheerful and welcoming. As a blind person, I appreciated, his customer service and answering all my questions. Finally, the pastries were outstanding wish I had a place like this near my own home.

The service here is wonderful. I am gluten free and love their breakfast sandwiches on their freshly made rosemary focaccia bread. Everything is cooked to order and it's a comfortable and cozy place. Went here four times in one day. Every time I visit Salem I stop in at least once.

Very bright and spacious location. Great coffees, lattes, and pastry options! The breakfast sandwiches are also delicious, and I love that I can get caramelized onions on them! Check this spot out if you get the chance, my go-to is usually a black, dark roast and a ham and swiss croissant. Always hits the spot.

Came in for a quick sweet treat and a warm and lovely latte with a friend and had a wonderful conversation about names with the worker Lisa! Thank you for the lovely experience on my last day in Salem! -

Pastries are so good here. Their raspberry squares are huge and have a crumble top. Both the lemon meringue tart and key lime tart were full of flavor. Prices are very reasonable, both tarts were $4 each and the raspberry square was $3.50. Quick friendly service too!

a winner. a gem. top marks in every category. great coffee and terrific food (baked goods and cooked to order) served in a clean, calm, bright, friendly, welcoming atmosphere.I was in Salem for a long weekend/getaway.over two days we (me and the other members of the traveling party) went in 5-6 times for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches, mid-day coffee and pastries, and a final breakfast before leaving town. And for those on a GF diet - you will find yourself in heaven in Salem MA.Dietary restrictions: a very good selection of some of the best GF baked goods I have ever enjoyed.

I love local places, but this was a major letdown. The order took a while, was a bit overpriced, wasn't made correctly despite a notice of allergy ahead of time, and tragically it wasn't that good, either. I'll keep looking for alternatives. You should consider the same.
