Such a great locals spot! Their garden salad is honestly so simple and so great to start your dinner! My parents rave about their steak tips and burgers but I got the seafood chowder and garden salad and both were great!

Found this place from maps .walked in and it felt like a place that would know you, the 3 of us all tried the steak tips and they were delicious!! The salads were even better than other places I've tried. They weren't just lettuce, which we loved.If I am back in that area definitely a place to stop.

This is a small, charming pub in Salem that has a lot of local appeal. We got there just after it opened and were the first customers of the day. Thirty minutes later it was full of people. Located near the historic section and shopping district.Small draft beer selection. Burgers and steak tips are the main attractions on the menu. Very good onion rings, lightly battered and crispy. Burgers were fantastic.Daily specials. Very friendly staff.

Great burger, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Seafood chowder was also good and affordable.Edit, with loss of star due to no lock on men's room. If you are sitting on the toilet people can swing the door open and expose you to anyone on the other side of the door. The whole restroom is about the size of a restroom stall.

Have been going there for years, very consistent, best burgers on the North shore but come on start opening up during the week for lunch, weekends is not cutting it, and also get your Keno back but all is good, great wait staff, great service, great food.

Major Magleashes Pub was recommended to us by a tour guide. We had clam chowder, mushroom and Swiss burger, cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings. We think, not positive, that they make their own onion rings. They were lightly breaded and delicious.We watched them make the hamburger patties. They were definitely fresh. This is a little off the beaten path and worth the little additional effort to go there. We're from Maryland, but would frequent the restaurant if we were locals.
