I don't know much from Melt, the only time I ordered from them was when the opened for the day and I had to catch my bus from Salem home. I ordered three scoops of chocolate in a cup with fudge. It was pretty good for an ice cream made at opening time, but I would say that Melt is very quaint, but not rememberable; at least in my opinion. However, I would say that it is still worth it to buy a cup from there.

We had the banana Nutella and the salty Oreo peanut butter in a waffle bowl and both were fantastic! Staff were super friendly, too. Lots of outside seating.

Super friendly service! There was a line for ice cream that went out the door and around the block but the staff was smiling, efficient, and still managed friendly chat with customers while serving them.
I saw honey cornbread ice cream on the menu, I thought, "Gross!" But, my curiosity got the better of me. I'm glad it did. Decidedly not gross.
Ice cream very creamy and delicious. The shop was very generous with their scoops. And it’s reasonable priced considering they’re in a tourist destination.

I like to review ice cream shops on 3 things. The ice cream, the spoon or cone and restrooms.
Ice Cream - I got the atomic coffee and it was one of the best coffee ice creams I have had. It was like they froze a cup of some fancy foo foo cold brew drink. It hit the spot
Spoon - very solid and didn’t bend, however I did get the waffle bowl and it was hard to break and once I got down to the bottom of my ice cream I folded it in half to eat as the spoon was not breaking it.
Restrooms - didn’t see any

Came in here to get some ice cream however a worker rudely tells me that they are closed despite the sign saying open and there were people on line. Why turn away paying customers in Salem’s busiest month of the year and one of their busiest nights with the parade? If ever in Salem again, I’d never support this business again. I am very upset about this as I have a picture of this place clearly with the sign saying open.
