Highly recommend the Lemon Hummus Plate appetizer.
We also had the Reuben and the Lobster Roll. FYI, the image of the Lobster roll was a half sandwich. My daughter and I split the sandwich so that we could also try the appetizer and not be overly full. That being said, we still had some of the appetizer to take home but did finish our sandwich.

We were walking around Salem and stumbled across this nice little tavern. I was concerned at first that it was gonna be bar food. To my surprise the food was super good and plated nicely.
I had the grilled cheese, my wife had the cob salad and my kiddos had the nachos and fish and chips. The food was excellent and the service good considering our party of 12. The server was super friendly and had a good sense of humor.
Would highly recommend.
PS, the garlic fries were super tasty and had full cloves of garlic to munch on.

Amazing food. Nothing we ordered was anything but great. I'm not normally a fan of cold lobster rolls, but this one might have made me a convert. Give this place a try!

We came in during Pride on a whim, and they were happy to assist us. We had a 2 and a half year old, so we had to wait for a table to open. Once the table opened up they had a seated and took our orders immediately. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was friendly, and I 100% will be making this a staple every time I visit Salem.

This is a must stop for my husband and I when we visit Salem. The food is always amazing and they have a great selection of beer. They have seating inside and when it is nice outside you can also choose to sit outside which we always often do. My husband also recommends the Lobster Roll! He said it was one of the best ones he has ever had! The staff are also super friendly. I highly suggest this place for a great bite if you are in Salem.

My son treated me and his dad out to dinner here this evening and everything was great! My husband and I shared their steak tip entree with garlic French fries and a medley of fresh vegetables (summer squash, zucchini, broccoli and Bermuda onions). The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. I also had their frozen margarita which was yummy! And my husband had a pint of Maine Lunch. Our server was kind and efficient. Our son had the Reuben sandwich which I had a bite of and that too was delicious. The place was quaint, clean and busy. We left before the band started but I'm sure that too would be fun to hear. We will be back!

Food was amazing. I had the nachos, but they just did them differently and the combination of ingredients was spot on! The pickled jalapenos were a really nice touch! The issue with the service: She didn't really listen. My partner asked for 0-0 non-alcoholic beer. She brought a 0-5. When I said something, she walked away and said, "I just give you what's on the menu" (even though that wasn't the question). She came back and my partner said something and she took it off the bill. Ummmmm, he said the exact words I said... And I even smiled and was nice about it. But with me, she was like that with everything. I just felt she didn't give a damn about our table. (Until it was time to give me the check, and that was over to us in 2 seconds and she literally said the first nice thing to me, "Thank you for coming in and have a great day". It was "time to tip"... And I did the 20%, but I've been in the service industry and 35% is my standard. But I wasn't going to reward "Ms. Undead" ( That was her Halloween costume) with more than standard. Will I go back? You bet! I just hope I get better than her next time

We got the garlic parm wings and fries and they were the best that either my wife and I tasted, (and she's from Buffalo) the wings had whole garlic confi cloves and they just melted in your mouth!
HOWEVER our server Austin was just terrible. Though he brought us cups of water seconds after we sat down. Took forever for us to put in a drink and food order. I don't know if the drinks were made wrong or if they were just weird because their specialty drinks had SO many ingredients.
When our food came out Austin didn't speak to us again. I saw his duck around the corner and I guess he went on a smoke break or something. We were missing a wing and it took like 15 mins to flag ANOTHER server down and tell her, another 10 to see Austin again and he didn't even ask us if we wanted the food or a percentage off the bill.
Food was amazing but service and drinks were severely lacking.

BEST FISH TACOS EVER!!!!! The food here is amazing. The staff is awesome and very clean place ? I’m from Miami Florida and this is the best fish taco I’ve ever had. My husband had the fish and chips and he’s never had haddock before and he loved it. Can’t wait to visit again and try other things on the menu.

My brother came to eat here with friends last year and introduced us to this place for lunch during our stay in Salem. We queued outside to get a table for 5 people and only waited 15/20 minutes! My brother being vegetarian was able to eat a veggie burger! We ate very well, the service by a young girl was very good! We recommend this restaurant with our eyes closed! ??
