On our first visit we took a seat at the bar and were impressed at the selection on beers available. We had to opt for the Pumkinhead Beer with the spiced rim!
Second time we queued a for approx 5 minutes to get a table for food, and we enjoyed it.
All the staff we dealt with were courteous.
Well worth a visit if you're in Salem.

Olde Main Street Pub is an inviting Irish-style pub & restaurant tucked along historic Essex Street in downtown Salem. It's open Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
On our first night in Salem, my friends and I chose this place for dinner, and we were immediately glad we did. Every dish tasted homemade and full of flavor, and the service, especially from our server Elisha, was warm, attentive, and personable.
We started with the charred broccoli mac & cheese, which arrived piping hot and baked to perfection. Every bite was rich, creamy, and delicious. Honestly, it's up there with the best mac & cheeses I've ever had.
For entrées, we shared the shepherds pie and the steak tips. The shepherds pie, made with a hearty mix of lamb, beef, peas, carrots, house mashed, and cheddar cheese, was fresh and perfectly balanced. The steak tips were cooked to our liking, tender, and seasoned beautifully. Both dishes were comforting and satisfying.
Olde Main Street Pub delivered exactly what we were hoping for: great food, genuine service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Salem.

We went to stop at the pub, no wait. We had fish and chips and the taste was delicious. In addition, you had drunken pumpkin drink and it was good!! Out waitress Liv was very friendly and attentive. She was pleasant throughout our visit. Thanks Liv :)

The pulled pork was absolutely delicious, with a unique bbq flavor. The fries are a 12/10. The Broccoli Mac was also good very cheesy. Friendly staff and quick seating.

Very touristy so the waitress was probably very stretched and it was probably why she was a bit rude. The burger was great but the fish in the fish and chips was not as crispy as I thought it was going to be. Overall it was pretty good!

We enjoyed the natural chicken so much. It was scrumptious. Juicy and flavorful. I wish I could get this dish at home. We had the fish and chips, it was crispy and flaky. Fries also yummy. Beer was cold and had many option including Guinness. We sat in the outdoor area and it was cozy and comfortable. We had Stephanie as our waitress and she gave us excellent service with a smile. Totally enjoyed our time at Olde Main Street Pub. I’ll miss you.

They went above and beyond to help me out during the busiest time of the year! I have a disability and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and even checked in on me afterward. Definitely recommend!
We had the fish and chips and Mac and Cheese and our server recommended loaded with bacon and chicken. It was absolutely delicious and not heavy at all for a mac and cheese. Have an option for bread to scoop the remaining sauce left over, I used my fork! The panna cotta also recommended was light and perfect ending to a wonder night in your establishment. Every staff member was polite and courteous If you are in Salem, DINE HERE, you will not be disappointed!

Waiting in line to enter- the front of the line followed the first group in and the host yelled at the customers to go back outside (which obviously takes time to get the rest of the line to scoot back), the host came off as impatient and rude, then continued to yell at the people in front. I'm honestly surprised they stayed to eat.
Food was good, very rich in flavor. My friend and I split a Caesar salad and roasted broccoli mac and cheese. Both would've been too much on its own.

The only place in Salem I truly enjoyed. Great atmosphere (low light, rustic, loud chatter), our waiter was amazing and all other staff were so friendly (rare in Salem), food was phenomenal and even though it was a full house- food came quick.
