Had a $20 cover per person (Halloween weekend) but was not told until we reached the front door. Waited outside for about 45mins to be told last second despite the bouncer constantly being outside addressing the line about the wait time.

This little pub was really cute! We visited two days before Halloween, and they had it decorated so fun with tons of festive Halloween decorations. We were greeted right away, and our server was very friendly and welcoming.
They have a nice beer selection, and we started with the fried pickles appetizer — they were great! Just your standard pickle chips, but the breading had good flavor, and the spicy ranch dip was excellent.
For our main dishes, we split a hot chicken sandwich and an order of their mac & cheese. The chicken sandwich had great flavor, a fresh-tasting sauce, and a really good bun. The fries that came with it were average, but still good. The mac & cheese came out piping hot in a skillet — creamy, flavorful, and topped with perfectly toasted breadcrumbs.
Service was quick and attentive; our table was cleared promptly. Overall, I’d definitely recommend eating here if you’re in Salem!

We are uk residents and came to salem for a couple of days to see the sights,
We wanted some lunch and thought oneills would be a nice choice, unfortunately we had to stand at the entrance door for about 10 minutes waiting for a table to become free, what we noticed was the staff were ssssoooooo miserable, never smiled and only spoke when they absolutely needed to
Our server was nice and polite but the rest of the staff nope
The food was nice

Terrible service, we drove for 3 hours to try this place and we were ignored multiple times, server kept telling us another server will take care of us, and never did, will not return!

This was my first time coming here late night, and I’m honestly not a confrontational person at all. Even despite what was going on, I stayed calm and respectful the entire time. The bouncer (bald with a long beard) was unnecessarily rude and ended up kicking all of us out for no clear reason. When I politely asked for his name, he told me “none of your business,” which felt really unprofessional and disrespectful. It left a bad impression, especially for a first-time customer just trying to enjoy my night.
Food is very poor quality!!
Burgers are very greasy french fries no taste
