The portions are very generous and delicious. The fried pickles were tasty, as was the Mac and cheese. The sushi was surprisingly awesome. There's a speak easy in the basement called Hallowed Ground.
Had no idea what to expect and it was the best kind of surprise on a recent evening in Salem. While the menu is not necessarily original or innovative or new, it's fine to have these kind of tried and true or familiar items when they are made to this well and are this good, which they are. Looking forward to going back and trying more things. Bonus points for the fact that the staff is friendly, welcoming, on top of it, and extremely nice. The vibe of the place is also great.
Great drinks, AMAZING chicken nachos (when we finally got our chicken after about 20mins) but the atmosphere was perfect. Sad we didn't get to go to Hallowed Ground but we will definitely be back!
