Love Love Love Periwinkles. My favorite sandwiches. Greatly appreciate the touch of adding a pickle with sandwiches, however highly reccomend NOT wrapping the pickles IN the paper with the sandwiches. Coming from someone who hates pickles and doesn’t order them for that reason, it’s a bit of a bummer taking your sandwich out of the bag for it to start dripping pickle juice from the now soggy paper wrapping to then open it to a now soggy sandwich. Like the wrapped sandwich was actually dripping down my arm as soon as I took it out of the bag. Was inedible today unfortunately.

What an amazing find! I'm beyond happy with my Reuben sandwich (saving half for later) and the red bliss is a keeper in my book. Can't wait for the clam chowder for dinner

The absolute BEST sandwiches! If you’re a bread person like me, you will 10/10 appreciate how fresh and soft their bread always is! I also usually only order a half sandwich because they are HUGE!

Very delicious bagels, bagel sandwiches, and scones. Had the Iced Tea and an Iced Coffee (forgot tot request sugar so make sure you do if you like it sweet)! Great stop for breakfast.

Large menu selection and the food was good. Gets very busy during lunchtime. Only complaint that I have was we ordered our food and coffee, they told me they were brewing fresh coffee and would take 6 minutes. Took much longer than that since the machine had an error and no one told us about the problem. We finished our meals and then asked what happened to our coffee and they then noticed that the coffee machine did not brew. Small complaint, but was annoying with poor communucation with customers in a timely manner. We will go back though.

I was here today April 3rd for the Turkey sandwich with stuffing and cranberry sauce, And the pea soup. By the time I got back to my office, the cranberry sauce had saturated the bread to which the sandwich just fell apart. There was so much cranberry sauce. The sandwich is unedible. The pea soup was the bottom of the barrel. You can ask a girl who served me because she scraped that canister to get the last drop and I'll send a picture of how much I got. I live for periwinkles every week. Sorry to say not anymore. Very Disappointed.
I always make a few pit stop(s) here when I’m back home and it never disappoints! Food is as fresh as mom’s comfort cooking… The best quiche and soups on the North Shore!

The minute I walked in to Periwinkle’s in Salem I could smell all the fresh food being prepared and served. Jennifer was very kind and helpful as I picked up my take out order from her. We look forward to eating our food which we are sure will be delicious as all of our previous orders from Periwinkle’s have been. Look into God’s kindness for you, please read John 3:16!!

I've been going here for a long time....There food is so fresh and homemade. I always get the chicken salad ,Quiche and all there salad dressing are so good. You have to try there muffins,cookies and scones too. Also the owner is so pleasant Definitely recommend
