Rivalry Sports Lounge and Kitchen

i went to rivalry in salem and the environment is so fun and upbeat. the food is amazing and the drinks are so fun and festive. i left my wallet here and came back the next day and the manager, zack was on it and very helpful with the return of my wallet! the first day we came here, my sisters drink got spilled and the server brought us a new one free of charge. we loved it so much here that we came back the next day and got pumpkin ciders. not to mention, the food comes out super quick with barely any wait time. i highly recommend stopping by to grab a bite, you won’t be disappointed!

Great service, drinks and food. We were in town from Michigan and wanted to see the lions game. The only complaint is that the glare was bad on the tvs and the owner didn’t seem to care when staff and customers asked to switch the game to a tv with a better view.

I was not expecting the awesome chicken Caesar sandwich, when I walked in the door. On top of that, Alex blew us away with his service - he predicted every want before we voiced it, checked on us very regularly, and is probably the first true service PROFESSIONAL I’ve encountered in 5 years. If half their staff is as awesome as Alex - this place is top tier.

In Salem for the weekend. Good drinks. Stopped in to watch the lions game today. Horrible glare from the parking lot. The bartenders asked the owner to change the station from one Tv to another like 3/4 times. He declined. Wasn’t more than 20 people in the place. Staff clearly cares about the customers. While the owner could give two shits. Might visit again. Might not.

Came for a bachelorette party a few weeks ago. We waited for almost an hour past our reservation time to be seated. We ended up waiting for drinks for 45 minutes and food 2 1/2 hrs. Food was cold, bread on a few burgers were rock solid, meals and toppings forgotten. The “adult playground” isn’t much for adults, when children are all over the games… can’t say I was impressed. I understand busy season, but we waited much longer than tables seated after us.

Visiting salem during October and this place is great! Wide open seating and indoor corn hole so you don't have be in the cold. A lot of other games inside! Cool giant drinks and great pizza as well.

Deserves less than one star for service ?
We don't wonder why it's one of the only restaurants in Salem that still had availability and took reservations... all the tables were outside despite the freezing temperature, the drinks didn't come in special glasses as demonstrated on their social networks, the portions were tiny, the food was bad of the frozen-reheated kind and low quality.… not to mention the attitude of the waitresses, the lady next to our table to ask for 3 times to have utensils! It took us 1h20 before we received our food!!! I have never in my life had to get up and tell the waitress that we were leaving since the food hadn't arrived (especially in a half-filled restaurant). We didn't get a discount for the wait... probably because all the customers were angry.

The service and fried pickles are incredible!! If you are a ranch dressing fan their ranch is 10/10! Welcoming atmosphere and a great time overall!
