Went for an early dinner on a quiet winter evening. Was rushed to pay the bill before checking we were even finished ordering . I usually like to be able to settle promptly but despite it being quiet the server didn’t even clear our empty plates . Was finishing my drink after eating and saw a mouse roaming around on the floor 😳. Safe to say, we swiftly left and won’t be returning . So disappointed and regret tipping for the poor service.

We came back after several years and the renovations were shocking. Gone is the cozy, classy speakeasy built in a historic bank. The once-beautiful center bar has been awkwardly shunted into the corner and filled with giant TVs. Everything is painted a stark and unsettling white. The bank vault is hidden in the back surrounded by tables, so you can hardly see it and you have to disturb other diners to get a good look. The staff is dressed like we're in a dive bar and they know nothing about the history of the place or the hauntings. They were also sweeping the floor right next to people eating and checking on us every 5 minutes as if they'd get to go home if we left (we were there 4 hours before closing). The drinks were hit-or-miss and the food was just fine. Still expensive of course, but without the charm or the quality! Can't believe that one of the best spots in Salem has fallen.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick dinner before we caught our train back to Boston during our trip. We stopped in on the evening of Jan 31st and we were greeted by the adorable gentleman with the bleached blonde hair (we didn't catch his name). He was such a sweetheart and he was so professional! We felt welcome immediately and we loved the food. The truffle fries are some of the best i have ever had! The cardigan weather mocktail is also SO good! Thanks for great food and hospitality.

went here and ordered a chicken sandwich they gave me just the chicken no bread and a bit after i got my food I had to use the restroom and didn’t even touch my food yet when i got back it was taken away and i still had to pay.

Our last trip to Salem we ate here twice. The food is absolutely delicious. I got crab cakes which were perfectly seasoned and a garden salad full of big vegetable pieces. My husband got a burger and he enjoyed it. We shared a piece of their peanut butter pie, YUM! Don't miss out on their mystery shots either. So fun to see what the flavor is for the day. Any server we have had there has been so kind and helpful. We will be back this April and I am so ready to eat here.

I have been to this place twice now. It is one of my favorites in Salem. The food is so good and the service staff is always so friendly and quick. I got the braised short ribs and my husband got the grilled salmon. The drinks were also wonderful, especially the Apple Cobbler Mule. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible. It is housed in an incredible looking building and the interior doesn’t disappoint at all! The vibes and overall feeling of the place are very comfortable and electric. The food was also the best I’ve ever had and the portions were huge! Lastly, and most important, our server, Lisa Belle, was the best. She was so friendly and we had some great talks, we laughed out loud more than once. 10/10, I would highly recommend eating here.
