Stopped here on our way to the hocus pocus house down the road, and so glad we stumbled here. Wings were probably the crispiest I ever had, and not drenched in sauce, so loved that. And had never seen a steak bite sub on a menu, so had to try it, and I took like 30 min to eat it because I didn’t want the experience to be over lol. And nice not paying downtown Salem prices.

I honestly really wanted to love this place. Little blonde girl that was working there September 6, 2025 at night needs to fix her damn attitude. The place was relatively lively but people had their food already and we had just walked in. Waited 20 minutes just to be greeted and no drinks. Greeted the table (barely), gave me a nasty attitude to the point where my husband and friend asked me “what the heck was that?”, rolled her eyes at me every time she’d pass by the table, roll her eyes at me while I told her what I wanted to drink when SHE asked, gave an attitude when we asked for napkins (that never came), no side plates or anything. I served and bartended for 5-6 years while in college and grad school so I never leave bad reviews on restaurants but damn this was honestly such a bad experience that we left after the appetizer. Whatever she was going through is not my problem and maybe don’t give attitudes to parties that have women in it bc you think you’re not going to make a good tip. I’m very generous to servers bc like I said I served so I know what the industry is like. The other girls working that night were so sweet and picked up the slack to ensure we were taken care of. I get it, it’s a small bar which I love but having to leave a review bc a server had an issue for no reason says a lot.
My daughter and I took my son out for his birthday here! Man this is going to be our go to place! The food was amazing! I got the chicken teriyaki wrap, my daughter got the steak tip wrap, my son git the BBQ bacon ranch burger! Everything was delicious 😋 this was our first time here but its nit gonna be the last! The staff is fabulous! They're very attentive, friendly and so sweet!

Sidelines is an excellent place to visit. Every single experience is met with warm staff who provide service above and beyond expectations. Avery took a personal request for a drink choice of tequila, with full reign on creativity. She decided to make a unique twist on a raspberry lime rickey which was delicious, refreshing and memorable. the Staff make the restaurant: all are friendly, engaging, and attentive. Make sure this place is on your list to visit when you enter Salem!
