Friendly local pub- jazz band was there on a Tuesday evening which was a nice surprise and not too loud. Limited menu but the burgers were homemade and tasty! Good beer.
The Babe was such an awesome place to visit while we were in Salem! The food was amazing and all of the staff were very attentive. It was a very low key, laid back vibe that we enjoyed!
We got in on time for our reservation and the service was great, especially considering it's the Saturday before Halloween which is salems busiest weekend. However, two of the three of us didn't care for our entres -chicken bacon ranch had too much ranch & the cheese burger for my ten year old was “hard”. The Carolina BBQ wings weren't crispy and we only a few a few. Also the menu didn't match the online menu. The apple cider donuts were the highlight of the meal.
There was a very limited menu that was not on the website. The kitchen was very very slow. The service staff were terrific and tried to appease the waiting guests.
We had a reservation at noon on a Saturday a week before Halloween. Our service was great but our food took 1.5 hours to come out. We ordered cold sandwiches. It should never have taken that long. The servers handled it very well and the manager comped our food. The food was good when we got it. Overall experience was fine.
The food was pretty good and fast. The wait staff didn't replace a drink when we said it didn't taste right (just a coke) and still charged us for it.
Fries and burgers are huge, drinks are not expensive at all, PAM is entertaining!!! Morrigan is an amazing server and a super star!

We had our reservations made on open table . For 9:30 the restaurant closed at 10 pm which was not much time . But the waiter was so nice , he didn't make use rush even though we were the only people on the place he talked to us and gave us Donuts . He was truly awesome. The food was really good I had a Philly cheese steak and a lemon drop martini which was amazing . I think this little place is tucked away from the crowd but a gem the staff made the restaurant worth going .
This was our first stop because it was closest to our hotel that we stayed in and we shared an Italian sub which was enormous and delicious. We came back later that evening for drinks and we had a great time.

The staff was wonderful and the food was good. Not amazing- but good. Very limited menu on the weekend, which maybe we should have known but was a little disappointing.
Food was amazing but service could have been better. It took at least 10 minutes to get greeted if not more, once the food came out the server did not come check on us or ask if we wanted more to drink (we did, all four of us, he missed out on at least $60 on tab to be tipped on) instead he was just behind the bar (not the bartender)
After a long travel day, we were really hungry and chose The Babe to eat at. The smash burger had little to no flavor and the Italian sub was overwhelmed with a tart slaw. The mozzarella bites were really good, slightly overcooked but good.
Staff was arguing with each other - poor service - smallest Caesar salad for 12.00 and 2 out of 3 sandwiches were prepared wrong - long wait times even though they weren't that busy would not recommend unless you ask for no modifications and do take out
The Babe was awesome! Great service and everyone was super nice. The food was also great!!! Little hidden gem
