I think there is new ownership, I could be wrong, but in the past few months quality has gone down hill.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience with Vesuvius lately has been so poor that I feel compelled to say something. Perhaps it’ll serve as a warning to others to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere, at an establishment that cares more about the customer experience.
I ordered a chicken finger sub and paid $14 for it, only to get home and find that there was only 1.5–maybe 2 (if I’m being generous)—chicken fingers in the entire sandwich. I understand that everything is expensive these days, and I’m sure Vesuvius is likewise dealing with higher prices from vendors, but if you’re going to pass this on to the customer, you can’t both raise your prices and also so drastically reduce portion sizes. If this was a one-time thing, I would give them a pass and let it slide. But this was the second time they skimped on the portions. I’d rather they charged me $20 and gave me sandwich that left me satisfied rather than paying $14 for a lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich with a dash of breaded chicken that leaves me wanting.

Ordered A fettuccine chicken Alfredo and I got one solid piece of pasta with some rubbery chicken the Alfredo sauce was chunks and under it was water….and the ziti I got was the same way 2 different dinners. Ohh not to mention the garlic bread was half hard

i love being given a congealed block of old pasta! i LOVE that its all stuck together and you cant take it apart! i love that this is obviously not fresh! hooray! i hate my life

Order was seriously lacking to say the least. The online ordering through DoorDash doesn’t give options to add anything and they don’t take special requests so they sent us a tiny, terrible excuse for a steak tip sub with nothing but shriveled up steak and bread.

Doesn’t listen when taking orders and the has a complete attitude when told wrap was made wrong. Took the order incorrectly and the got upset when called for a correction. Customer service has been lacking for sometime. Use to order here all the time. Was charged twice for a pizza last year and then had to call 3 times over a week for a refund. Not sure where being rude to the consumer became ok. Took a year off due the attitude and here we are again. Never again sad bc at one time it wasn’t this way.

I’ve read a few negative reviews lately and I’d just like to set the record straight: I order from Vesuvius frequently and have always received good quality food. Whether it’s their signature sandwiches (the focaccia is highly recommended) or their pizza, I enjoy and recommend them highly.
Came here twice in a few weeks for a few slices. First time, they forgot about my slices after placing them in the oven to warm them. Had to go remind them and they were burned. Had to start again.
Thought no big deal, accidents happen. Came in a few weeks later for a few slices again, this time after ordering and paying, they were never even placed in the oven to warm up. Again, had to remind them.
Unfortunate bc the pizza and food is not bad, but the service is brutal and the staff seem unhappy to be here.
Ordered 2 pizzas and a chicken wrap-plain. The pizza was good, but the wrap was awful. The chicken was tough and the wrap had everything on it. Called to complain to a manager, but just got the person working the counter and no apology. No sure if I’ll go back.
