Good food, nice atmosphere and alright service. We were seated right away and the food was pretty good. Very big space great for larger parties

Tori @ the bar was very friendly and VERY knowledgeable. Even though we live locally; this was our fist time. The pickle back shot was fun. I could have raspberry iced teas all day, delicious. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon

I was not happy with the service. the bar and restaurant was not busy and my food came out late. Drinks arrived late. Bartenders were focused on regulars. I had to wait an extra 5 mins before my main meal came out. I watched while others ate. I suggest bit bar more than this place as they were busy and servers were better in customer service.

I love this place from the food to the service A+. Every time we come to Salem we go at least once, most times more.

Stopped in mid afternoon for a drink and a fowl of chowder. We heard it's the place to go for chowder. The chowder was fine. Nothing super special but good. Service was not good. Asked for a table at a window and the server/host seemed irritated. It was not busy so it's not like we took the only good seat in the house. Never brought us napkins/silverware... had to ask when we got out chowder and he brought us a few cocktail napkins. Then he disappeared. Never did see him again. Had to ask the bartender/other server for our bill. She was great. She had 4 tables and the full bar and was hustling. He had 3 tables and disappeared. I think we just got stuck with a bad server to be honest.

Good pub fair. Greats selection of taps. Definitely not the best steak tips in America. Over all would recommendParking: Parking in Salem can always be challenging, especially if here in the fall.

Went out with friends here and one of the bouncers lifted a bag that was left unattended at the table and stole the money out of it, refused to show the footage from the 3 cameras surrounding the table when asked and then claimed that our party was too drunk to be there (2 of us were totally sober and the other 2 had barely been drinking) really put a damper on the night, would not recommend.

HEALTH HAZARD: The rest rooms here are so disgustingly filthy that you'd better hope that anyone handling your food has a separate, clean bathroom to use (unlikely). And I mean that the bathrooms are so gross that you won't want to think about what you've had to walk through to get in and out (if you've dared to go in in the first place). Do you think this review sounds mean, unnecessary, exaggerated? If so, you haven't seen the rest rooms here. I don't know how this place has managed not to be shut down by the health authorities. It's really that bad. It's been awful for years and it only gets worse. It's disgraceful that anyone operating a restaurant or any business would coast along year after year without doing something about a situation like this. IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD AND AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE CITY OF SALEM.

Poor service, food was underwhelming and my drink was made incorrectly the business is going down fast. They need either new management or just relaunch with friendlier wait staff and a bartender who knows how to fix drinks

I ordered a burger and truffle fries for takeout. I am only commenting on the food itself since I didn’t step into the restaurant or directly interact with the staff.I love truffle fries and try them everywhere I go and these were delicious. The burger on the other hand was sad. The burger patty was very thin, overcooked (I requested medium rare and there was no pink) and had no taste. There was one tiny slice of tomato and two undercooked slices of bacon that were thrown on without a care.

The atmosphere was OK, a younger crowd. Waitress was attentive and nice. Got nachos for starters, it was good and hot, a little on the smaller side, but tasty. We ordered the "smash burger", never had one before. I now know why they call It the smash burger, because it is so thin, like mcdonald's thin, maybe even thinner. The sauce and brioche bun was good with bacon that was not tasty. The burger meat just about disappeared in the roll. I got onion rings which I thought were good and hot., a little on the crunchy side which I like. All in, I could have had 8 more of those smash patties THEN we are talking, but no, this is a college crowd dive bar, sorry. Thank you. I'm good.

My family and I had a very nice lunch here right in the heart of Salem. Huge menu. Lots of space both indoors and outdoors. We all enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Large portions. Would recommend and will visit again.
