Stopped in for lunch. Sloppy Choppy was 🔥 and the Wings were some of the best I’ve ever had! Wife loved her Mac and Cheese burger as well! The Bartender/Waitress was awesome! One of our best meals while visiting the cape!!!
It was just ok. Got there expecting big stuffed burritos. But they told me all they have are tacos! Kind of a let down considering the pictures. I imagine the girl at the counter just didn’t tell me they have another set up across the street from the taco shack.

Off The Grid is the VIBE! My favorite place to bring large groups, small children, and really anyone who loves fun and good times. I get the Fishizzle sandwich every time I go, but I hear everything else is pretty delicious as well.
Fun lunch on a beautiful fall day
What a great spot to grab a burrito! Phatty’s is located up on a hill with “Off the Grid” and “Smokin’ Bowls at off the grid (Ramen)”. It’s a cool little spot to hang out and enjoy your takeout. There was a firepit and it was very family friendly. The person making the food for us came out and spoke about the area and the history of the location. I loved the passion he had when talking about the food and the BBQ. The picture doesn't represent how good and the portion size. My burrito was overstuffed with tender smoked beef brisket and all the fixings. This place is a must try and I can’t wait to go back and try Birria’s.
Off the Grid is truly a “ Hidden Gem “ with music & multiple choices of food
Not what I expected to American.

I will visit this place whenever I'm in Sandwich! Best street tacos anywhere, small building sharing seating with Off The Grid bar. Well worth the visit!

My daughter and her husband have taken us twice to this place, once during August when it was hustling and bustling, and just recently in early December - in the nicely heated tent! Both times our sandwiches were freshly made and absolutely delicious, as were the fries, and our drinks too!
Off the Grid, used to be located in a school bus behind Shipwreck Ice Cream shop off Tupper Road on the way to the canal. They were so popular they outgrew the space. Now they are permanently located on 91 Route 6A, at The Hillport Gallery, in Sandwich. You can enter their parking area either off Tupper Road or Rte 6A. The school bus serves as the kitchen and bar with about 18 stools. The large oak and maple trees form a canopy where you may sit on the picnic table or a comfortable table of four. They also sub-let an old tool shed on the property to a burrito joint with fantastic Tex-Mex food. Also on the property is the funky art gallery. you can bring your food there to view the art and sit at one of the tables. Be sure to take to seat on the bench swing and view the fireplace and cathedral ceiling. All in all, Off the Grid, is a real hidden gem with truly amazing cuisine in a funky, laid-back atmosphere.
We have dined a few times at Off The Grid. Yesterday, I ordered a cheeseburger and asked for lettuce, tomato and onion. To my utter surprise, I was charged extra for each item. Seriously for basic items that every other restaurant adds at no charge. The tomato was the most expensive. She asked if fries were good and I said yes. Then I see $1.00 charge for fries. If you want to charge for these items, tell people up front. Totally unfair to just add these to the bill. Won't be returning anytime soon.
