“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“Ate at the new location in Allston last night with a friend and the food there was amazing! Excellent fresh bread, lentil soup, and wrap. Service was generally good with a few hiccups.“

“I’ve ordered the Kunefe from this place so many times, and it’s always been amazing! I’ve also tried it at the restaurant, and it’s just as good there too. Definitely a must-try.
They also serve a variety of other dishes and desserts that are authentic to Turkey, so it’s worth exploring the menu. Highly recommend giving this place a try!“

“I had an amazing experience at Anatolia Kebab House. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The doner meat was tender and juicy, and the plate came with a great variety of sides—rice, grilled veggies, carrots, red cabbage, and bulgur, all tasting really good and balanced, Definitely one of the best kebab spots I’ve tried. I’ll be coming back for sure👌🏼“

“If you are looking for authentic Turkish food north of Boston, look no further than family-run Istanbul Diner Cafe in Saugus (or their original location in Revere)! Pics are from my fourth visit to the newish Saugus branch, a fantastic Adana kebap, with a homemade rice pudding for dessert, on a blustery Saturday. A meal here will transport you to Türkiye for the moment!“

“The food was really nice. We had appetizer, entrees, and dessert, and the price was affordable. The food was full of flavor. The service was spotty at times, waiting for drinks and such, but overall it was a wonderful experience. We would definitely go back.“

“Absolutely incredible food and great chefs! There were 9 of us that all ordered different things and we all raved and wanted to share with each other, but our portions were all so filling. Wish we weren’t traveling because I’d want this place in my neighborhood!“

“It’s a small, cozy restaurant, and I absolutely love their food. Everything on the menu is delicious, and their yogurt drink (a salted fermented yogurt beverage) is amazing. I think it’s fermented. Most importantly, they’re open late, which I love.“

“I’ve been driving by this place for months and finally stopped in this evening. Should have gone earlier!
I tried the iskender kabob plate. I’ve never had that dish before so I have no baseline, but it was tender meat in a delicious sauce served over bread cubes that soaked up all of the goodness — all with a side of yogurt. Amazing dish, I will return for more. Portion size was huge too. Tried the baklava for dessert, also excellent. Bonus, the person working behind the counter was super nice.
Will definitely head back to try many more things here.“
