Had our June wedding here - highly recommend. Super helpful team, absolutely beautiful venue, and very smooth wedding day.

I had my wedding here 2023 - everything went pretty well easy people to work with and great coordinating-! Area I think mainly could use improvement is the food - the steak was very dry and the portions were pretty small I was told by many guests. Other than that I have no real complaints.

We had the most amazing experience with the Barker House for our wedding! From the moment we first toured the venue to the final send-off, they exceeded our expectations in every way. The team truly brought our vision to life—everything from the decor to the ambiance was exactly what we had imagined and more.

The food and drinks were fantastic! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious dishes and the well-crafted cocktails. It made the whole experience feel even more special.

What stood out the most was how easy the planning process was. The team was incredibly organized, attentive, and always willing to help. Megan, our day of coordinator, made sure the day went off with out a hitch! They made the entire process stress-free and fun, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment leading up to the big day.

We’re so grateful for the Barker House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but also offers exceptional service and unforgettable memories!

I just got married here in November 2024. Overall, we very much enjoyed our wedding day, and it was beautiful. My constructive criticism is I do feel like there needs to be increased staffing, better quality control on the food (one table wanted prime rib from the buffet, and they ran out), and more water served to guests.

Guilty Bakery, the DJ, and the florals from Seaside Floral were terrific! I upgraded my florals, and to say I was happy was an understatement. She did a beautiful job! Lily was our day of coordinator and she did a great job as well!

I had my wedding here last Sunday and can not expressed just how happy my partner & I were with the entire planning and event process!
Wedgewood takes so much added stress away from the planning process, everything was super easy. We wanted a simple wedding that our guests would enjoy and the Barker House provided! We did an indoor wedding in January and my guests LOVED how cozy the venue was with all the fireplaces roaring. The staff had informed me of a little heat problem one of the rooms was having prior to my wedding, but promised it would be resolved by the time my special day arrived and they followed through! I really appreciated the complete honestly and transparency with that.

Shoutout to Davis-Lynn for being the BEST wedding coordinator I have ever met (and I've been in several weddings). By the end of the night she felt like a close friend! So thoughtful and attentive.

Chelsi my banquet coordinator was amazing as well! She calmed my nerves before walking down the aisle, which was so sweet.

Dom ,our DJ, was amazing! After a few scheduling issues with Alex, I was a little nervous with how the DJ team would go. Dom went above & beyond with reading the room so well. Our dance floor stayed full the entire night!

I truly cannot thank Barker House by Wedgewood Weddings enough for our amazing wedding! We signed for Barker House when it was still under construction in May of 2023 and from then until our wedding 2 weeks ago, all of the staff at Barker were extremely helpful, responsive and supportive. Every staff member was passionate and just as excited about our wedding as we were. Throughout our time working with them, Barker was continuously adding something new to the property to make it even better. I also have to give a special shout out to our day of coordinator Davis-Lynn - she was an absolute pleasure to work with! She calmed the nerves of everyone in the wedding party and made my wedding vision come to life. All of our guests raved about how charming the venue was and how good the food was! I adore everything there is with Barker House! I had my wedding in early September with them and it exceeded everything expectation and wish I could ever have and gave me the wedding of my dreams. You truly cannot go wrong with them for your ceremony and reception. They make the wedding planning process so simple and easy and worry free. If you’re stuck, confused, worried, or nervous about anything, they will completely solve anything you’re stuck on and make it so much better. You can trust the Barker Team with anything and everything!

For our September 2024 wedding we couldn’t be more happy with choosing Barker House! They made the planning process a breeze! Wedding day exceeded every expectation of ours, the whole team went above and beyond!

Barker House was an absolute dream wedding location as someone who grew up in Scituate. The team was so fun and easy to work with, especially our coordinator Davis-Lynn and our banquet captain Paula. Davis-Lynn & Paula worked so well together and made me feel so comfortable and assured everything was under control on wedding day. I only worked with Davis-Lynn for about 2 weeks as our coordinator was confirmed at our final meeting but she was an absolute delight… she knows exactly what shes doing and is so focused on making sure every detail is handled as smoothly as possible. The packages for the wedding are extremely customizable and made for us to be able to personalize our day down to very minor details. By working with local vendors to create “all inclusive” packaging and pricing Wedgewood took hours of time and stress off our hands to confirm those details too. I’d go with them 10000x over again given the chance and truly cannot say enough good things about the Barker from the very start of planning right down to the genuine effort and care that went into our day by the day of team at the Barker.

My friends had their wedding at Barker House, and it was beautiful. The food served at the reception was good, although I was sad to discover that they didn't have lemonade.

The Barker House was perfect! Everything went beautifully and as expected. Our wedding expert Amanda and banquet captain Paula were both amazing! We will remember our day forever and highly recommend this venue, especially since there are so many vendors included! That was the selling point for us (paired with the fact that our last name is Barker ☺️) Thank you to all who made our day so memorable!
