I followed The Dead from '71 to '75 and I had the time of my life. It was after my year in Nam. I was a young man once you know. That was before I had my innocence stripped away from me--when I was shipped across the world to kill or be killed. I saw things there I'll never forget. I held my best friend's hand as he died. I'll never forget what he told me. He said, "Wendell, never give up the fight." And I never did. I came back from Nam a changed man. The Grateful Dead saved my life. I met my first wife Paulette at a concert and together we went on a psychedelic trip for four years that changed our lives. During that time, the horrors of war were washed from my soul, and I was able to see the sun again. That feeling of finally being free; of having my soul released from its shackles after years of torment was the greatest feeling of my life. I experienced it again last night at Harbor House. This place makes a mean Buffalo chicken sub people.

We absolutely love this little shop. We often get food and head to the beach and chill out. They have to have the best Italian subs I’ve ever had. We just went the other day so even off season the food is still the same. The guys behind the counter are so friendly and look like they enjoy dealing with people too which is rare these days. We think you would enjoy anything you ordered from there.

I didn’t take pictures. I was starving late night after hours of work. I had a calzone and garlic bread. My wife had meatball sub. Best meatball sub in scituate. Everything was top notch and delivery was fast.

Pizza and turkey club were great, calzone is weird and not what youd expect other wise id give 5 stars. Best food in scituate so far.Update : ordered again last night. 2 pizzas, hot BLT , onion rings, gyro, everything is so delicious.Im not blowing smoke, ill rip apart businesses with bad food and bad service, but harbor house has been spot on. We are here on vacation, and although in our opinion new england isnt the greatest place for good food, finding harbor house has made our vacation complete. Thank you so much.

I stopped in during Holidays in the Harbor for a pizza and a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The pizza is outstanding Greek style pizza and the salad might be the best one I’ve ever had! The owner and staff are great friendly people who treat their customers right!
