Coffee/food/location excellent, but management was quite rude to me.

My wife & I were in town for a long weekend & were using Lucky Finn as our daily breakfast spot. On Sunday morning, we popped in before making our way to Gillette for the Pats game. I ordered an egg & cheese bagel on a plain bagel, because I have a sesame allergy. On the way to the game, I unwrapped my bagel & it was a sesame bagel rather than plain. Unfortunate for me, but mistakes happen.

I called the shop to ask for a refund because we didn't want to drive back to Scituate while already on our way to Foxborough. They told me a refund would be issued when the manager got in, which was fine with me.

The refund hadn't been issued the following morning, but I was going back to Lucky Fin for another round of coffee/breakfast anyways, so I asked about the refund when I went to order. The manager was taking my order & told me she hadn't issued the refund & began questioning me about the prior day's order, clearly implying she thought I was lying about receiving the incorrect order. It was so out of line that I left the shop without placing a new order or receiving the refund.

On the way home, I remembered I still had the prior day's incorrect order in my car, so I went back to the shop to show the manager that it was incorrect & I wasn't trying to steal from them. At that point, she did refund the bagel & apologize.

Hopefully this was just a one off event & not the way management typically treats customers. Very off-putting for an otherwise wonderful shop.

Go to any Lucky Finn and the food, drinks, and service will be worth it. Recommend the matcha, lattes, and overnight oats. However, there’s something magical about enjoying a custom drink and fresh breakfast sandwich outside, in the sun and breeze, overlooking Scituate Harbor.

Great outdoor spot. Wife liked the sugar free chai latte because “it’s not from a container”

Great little spot with a dog friendly small deck in the back overlooking the harbor, had a great cortado while watching the lobster boats pull up and offload. Service is great, coffee is great, food selection is good but the eggs seem to be pre-prepared and reheated. My sandwich came out with the eggs still cold in the center. I'd still go back, but would stick to pastries or non-egg foods.

Service is good, coffee is good, the vibes are fine. I go before it gets busy. Egg sandwich is probably not worth the price since they are definitely made in batch with some prepurchased liquid egg instead of a real egg, but good enough if you are starving. The croissants are stale.

Lucky Finn Cafe in downtown Scituate may have a limited menu at this location, but what they do, they do incredibly well! The drinks, especially the lattes, are absolutely amazing.

And honestly, you can’t beat the view while you enjoy your coffee. It’s such a cozy spot to relax and take in the waterfront charm. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

This has been a convenient place to go because of where I'm working. Everytime it's such a let down. For the prices that are way too high,it's not that good. Everytime I get the chicken bacon ranch,it's lettuce with a hint of bacon and a couple pieces of chicken. For almost $12 id expect good quality chicken, some bacon and less lettuce. Every sandwich I buy I feel like I pay for a lettuce sandwich and their ingredients are not that great. They're way more hyped up then they should be. Def a waste of money.

This Cafe enjoys a prime seafront location offering you a lovely views. The interior is clean and well-maintained. Plenty of food options but Coffee options are limited, seating is a bit cramped. What truly bothered me is that attitude of staff and the patrons felt as unwelcome to specifically non-white customers.

A quaint place to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee they have fresh pastries and sandwiches made to order. Sit out on the back deck and see the sunrise and scituate lighthouse
