Cash only and love the subs despite the only pickles onions and tomatoes only as sub toppings
FINNEGAN’S MOWING
I have been coming here since I was a kid. Maria’s has always been my favorite place to stop for a quick cold cut sub.

The classic sub in Scituate. No lettuce on your subs, but that doesn't matter b/c no matter what you choose the taste never disappoints.

Hello fellow yelpers! It's me, Wendell back again for another tasty examination of local herbage. I dedicate this review to my grandson Frederick, who said I should spice up my reviews with some of those youthful colloquialisms that the new generations use. As a writer, I am always looking for new ways to make my writing better. Thanks Frederick! Go class of 2036! It was a Saturday afternoon and I awoke like a sigma out of my bed. "Betski" I said as I got dressed in my best drip, ready to get a good bite to eat. I got my gyatt in my truck. It was a fire day outside. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and I was driving around with mewing like a boss. I knew this day was going to be lit. I was craving a bussing sub and decided to make my way down to an fire institution I had not yet visited. I was low-key excited to get my eat on. I walked up to the doors and a beautiful woman held the door for me. "Thanks, clout chaser!" I said with a smile. The woman seemed bemused but I knew she was just being extra. I'll have you all know that I was quite the rizzler as a young man, and that's on god. Now don't cancel me fam for flexing on the haters like I do. I'm no noob to this world, folks. I'm old. Talk about slaying, these workings were serving! Standing on business, if you will. Look, I'm no simp but I'm not afraid to vibe check a sus stan if I have to! I walked up to the counter. "I'll have a large Italian with the works and lettuce, please" I slurped. "Sorry, sir we don't have lettuce here." Uhm...yikes. It's giving embarassing! And I oop! "That's cap" I thought to myself. I mean how can a place not have fucking lettuce? I clapped back at the man behind the counter, "Okay hold the lettuce. Gimme that Italian with the works." I think they were humblebragging because they brought out my sandwich in two gyatts of a cringelord. When I tell you that shit hit different, it hit different. Periodt. This place popped off. It Ratio'd. It flexed on my hating self until I got humbled. No cap, ya'll. No cap. Okay, anyways I'm boutta go AFK, I got a shawty that needs me to spill the tea all over her sussy baka and I don't wanna ghost her. Don't get triggered folks, I'm just dropping some lore on a bruh while I swipe right on some queens. Don't mind me. Psst. Frederick, how did I do? Special thanks for the help:

Tryed to get a steak and cheese from here, but they don't make them, so I asked for an Italian instead, but they have no lettuce. Then I looked over, and it was cash only. Wish they told me this before I placed my order, but don't worry, there is an ATM that charges you to use.

I've been coming here since I was maybe 7 years old. This is, hands down, one of the best sub shops on the south shore. I introduced my friends to this shop and they loved it.

Rude people, they say they can't make a sub with cheese or lettuce because they don't have the ingredients. But, they are known for their pizza. Take cash only. Not a great place.

Definitely a favorite. I used to stop here 30 years ago after a hard day of work coming back from the ocean commercial fishing. Now I’m a dentist in Boston and I still come back to this old favorite!
I asked for a grilled veggie wrap and they toasted a half pita and put tomatos pickles and onions in it. Not worth $5.00 and they charge me $12.00. What a joke. The slices are old. This place sucks

Needed a quick place for lunch and this came up on my Google search. Not only was the food good, service was quick and friendly and price was very reasonable. Anytime I'm in Scituate this will be my go to for a sub or slice of pizza.

The staff very friendly 5 stars. They need to remodel. The tuna sub that I had today was average. No seasoning on the tuna, the tuna was dry. I like the toppings. Next time I will try the turkey sub. If there's even a next time.

Today i was out on a test to see who had the best Italian sub . Tried one from Maria's in Scituate MA and one from Victoria's in Hingham Ma. Both where made the same cold with everything including hots. Maria's service is quick and right to the point . The large sub from Maria's was alittle smaller than Victoria's not as much meat either but was plenty , more of a relish than topping coming with pickles, tomatoes and onion diced . No lettuce which I fine a lot of Massachusetts sub places don't add lettuce to their Italian subs. All and all the flavors where there, but I would have to say Victorias took the win today, but Maria's I would still eat there again !
