Reservation for 11 we ended up having 10 at 5 pm. It was all of ours first time here five of them are from Georgia wanting high quality fresh seafood. Our atmosphere was so beautiful the place was quiet at the time. Calamari it took over 40 minutes to come for an app cold , chowder was warm but cornbread was hot as well as great. Seafood platter was cold including the onion rings .Sadly for 39 dollars I do expect it to be hot but presentation on a metal plate tray was a great idea. Our GA family had cold whole clams ,cold clam roll everything was disappointing especially when we never were asked how everything was and I believe our waitress knew to not add the gratuity onto the bill. We paid for the bill and the beautiful views as for our hefty bill totally not worth it.I will mention the two young ladies at the hostess station were extremely full of politeness as we sat the young girl in the white dress was talking to me saying she hopes we enjoy our dinner and to have a great night , which I thought was wonderful thought we had picked the right spot .

Great spot for fresh seafood with a view of the wharf and ocean. We had lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail and crisp cold wines! Our waitress was very attentive and personable. The place is pretty big with both a downstairs and upstairs, we sat upstairs and wanted to sit outside but unfortunately there were a couple bugs. Otherwise we had a great time and the atmosphere was beautiful.

Unfortunately this place has lost its appeal. Anytime we visit Scituate we make it a point to eat here but after terrible service by Nevea,? (I think that’s her name she never said what it was) lack luster food and a wait time of over an hour we can’t come anymore. Totally unacceptable

Today I got a clam roll. It was supposed to be whole belly clams. It seemed to be filled with debris and there certainly were no whole bellies. It’s very disappointing. There are so many restaurants in the area that serve clam rolls and I expected much better of the mill wharf.
We went to Mill Wharf for an 85th birthday party. It was just the five of us. We seated at a beautiful window seat and it was a hot day in the air condition worked which was a major plus. They gave us two water bottles to fill our own cups with and took a drink order. Two of the drinks were never touched as they didn’t taste right. As the restaurant was pretty quiet, the staff was friendly, but took their time taking our order. My husband had a seafood platter and enjoyed it. My daughter had the kids grilled cheese and enjoyed it. Our guest had a clam roll with bellies. My other daughter had the steak tips and did not like them at all. The sauce was very heavily on, and you could not taste the flavor of the steak. The steak was pretty crisp versus tender. She also ordered a loaded baked potato for eight dollars, and it came out with just cheese on it and not bacon I didn’t return it because I ordered the Thai noodles which were horrible and I’ve never sent back food in my life and did this time Before ordering the waitress said that it was good. After I sent it back, she said many people don’t like it as they change the noodles all the time these were vegetarian noodles and not clearly described on the menu. We ordered another grilled cheese and I ate my daughters Steak.. The good thing is there were no issues with returning the food as many people return that dish the waitress stated. We might go back there some other time just because of the view, but we would definitely order something that can’t be screwed up like a burger. It’s an expensive place to not have high-quality food. Our bill was $180.

The view and location is amazing. Unfortunately, we had bad experiences with service and food. We ordered a cup of lobster stew, arugula salad with salmon, and clams dinner. Anyway, we were waiting a pretty long time, Finally, food arrived: the soup was cold, clams and French fries were cold. The worst thing happened when I tried to eat my arugula salad... on the bottom of the salad was dry disgusting big moths.... ( I assume it was insane of the arugula package and was not washed) I waited for the waitress to show unpleasant seen and when she finally came over, saw a moth, she asked me if it had just landed..... No words.... I felt accused Anyway, manager did apologize and made us pay.... I did make a recording of it. I do have a picture of it also I've been doing reviews for 10 years and helped many small businesses to be noticed and greatly appreciated for their wonderful great work! This place is spoiled and needs to be reviewed very well!
