We had a wonderful experience at Oro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so pleasing. We celebrated two High School graduates. One from Michigan who is going to Stanford and the other from Utah who will be attending the University of Utah. Everything went as planned. We especially want to thank Tatum who planned everything out for us. She answered all our questions and helped make the evening such a success. We also want to thank Robin King, Chef and Owner, for the delicious meal. If you are thinking of hosting an event please contact Oro. You will not be disappointed!!

The restaurant is very bright and welcoming but unfortunately that was the highlight of my experience. The food was very lackluster. Polenta fries were far too salty to be edible. Caesar salad was adequate (nothing mind blowing), shucked oysters were ridden with shell fragments, and the steak frites were underwhelming. Steak was very clearly a cheap cut of meat, quite grissel-ey and tough despite being cooked medium rare. The pork loin was probably the best plate of food- pork was tender but accompaniments left a lot to be desired. For the upscale vibe Oro puts out, the quality of food did NOT match. Service was also very mediocre. Our server tended to our table infrequently and at the end of the meal, was left wondering if she’d return to deliver the check (waited 15 min for her to reappear after she asked if we were ordering dessert…we were not. We did not explicitly ask for the check, but an experienced server would have known to bring it out as we had concluded our dining experience).

Summary- nice looking restaurant, very underwhelming food, highly inexperienced servers equate to an expensive meal that just isnt worth it.

We held a Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Event at Oro. Their event planner, Tatum, was very helpful and excellent to work with from start to finish. All of the Oro staff were great and the food was delicious. Our overall experience was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Oro for any event.

Horrible experience and I was sick to my stomach afterwards. The cocktail was tasty but super strong. The peach bruschetta wasn’t what the menu described at all and was meh. Peaches are out of season so not tasty at all. The chicken cutlet was meh as well. Not at all what expected and dry. I was very disappointed. As was my dining partner. The place itself lacks warmth. It’s sterile. Need a decorator to help you make it more cozy. The server was very sweet and attentive. I expected way more from this place. Hadn’t been in years was looking forward to going back but sad to say it’s declined.

We dined there las night, 5/17/24. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was nice. However the scallop special was perhaps the WORST entree I have ever been served. It was made with a bizarre combo of pomegranate and chick peas that tasted just terrible. It looked even worse! About all I can say that is positive was that Scallops were fresh. PLEASE take this off your menu and NEVER serve it again! We unfortunately will not be returning based on our experience.

We had reservations for dinner and we got there early to have a drink in the bar. There was some sort of golf rerun from the 90s on the TV. I ordered a drink and asked the bartender if she could put on the Bruins, playing game 6 of their playoff series. She said no and that if I wanted to watch TV I should go home. So we left and had a great time at Galley down the street.

Good food and huge portions. Would be great to add one vegetarian option in the entree.

We were very disappointed at this facility. Not friendly feeling. Looks like they stripped out the excellent prior facility and serving on bare tables without the comfortable chairs or friendly atmosphere. While there was a good amount of chicken cutlet it was drastically over priced as well as other menus selections. One of the two servings was burnt on the bottom. It is not a good operation. The chef owner has a bad idea of his business apparently.
