two days ago was the first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the fine cooking and wine and with the modest cost. We will no doubt come back in a short time.
Last night my wife and I dined at Riva for the first time. It was such a wonderful experience that we had to write a review. I ordered the chicken marsala which had a delicious crust on the outside, combined with perfectly cooked noodles. My wife had the short ribs and said they were the most tender she has ever had—cut-them-with-your-fork tender. Joseph, our server, was pleasant, funny, and helpful. Early dinner last night in the bar. First Christin the bartender is so nice and does a great job as the bar went from empty to packed while we were there. Our server Matt also did a great job as well. The menu has changed recently and the food we ordered was delicious. We shared arancini in Riva red sauce and they were crisp on the outside and loaded with fontina cheese on the inside.
