Didn't have the food. Hostess was nice and let me use the bathroom. Very nice bathroom. I pooped from 6:36 to 6:45. It was a well sized bowel movement. Thank you Satuit Tavern!

Wow! When you're not a local, go where the locals go. The hotel bartender recommended this place, and it was so very good. I'm not even a big fan of clan chowder, but the one here is delicious. I also ate the broiled scallops, and they were cooked to perfection. Check 'em out! You'll be happy you did. And full.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and not once, ever, have I had a bad experience.
My daughter brought me here for a birthday dinner. This is a terrific spot, hits on all important factors, Clean, great atmosphere, talented staff, reasonable prices with good portions. Daughter had the Seafood Stew, loaded with all the things you want in a fresh Seafood Stew. I went with the Rump Steak. No lie, one of the best steaks I have had in a restaurant.

From the outside it looks like a VFW hall. But when you see cars parked on the grass you might be on to something. So true. My husband said it was the best chicken sandwich he's ever had.

We were on vacation during Labor Day weekend and stayed in Scituate. We tried two other popular restaurants in the village (both great), but this one was the best! Our food was cooked perfectly, huge portion. Broiled scrod was delicious and fisherman’s platter was huge and cooked so well. Also ordered a kids pasta and it was so large that we had plenty leftover for another meal. The wait was a little long and the staff was clearly working hard trying to keep up, but they were so positive and accommodating. Most importantly, we had the best waitress we’ve ever had at this restaurant. I believe her name was Natalie? She was very direct but kind, got right to the point and didn’t bother or annoy us but checked in on us in timely fashion, despite being swamped with other customers. She was extremely pleasant to talk to and was literally the best waitress we’ve ever had! She deserves a raise for how hard she was working. We really had the best dining experience here and would gladly come back again!Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant that was accommodating to our toddler. Had several other toddlers, babies, and kids dining there too.

Husband, mother in law and myself came here on Saturday night. Wait was 15 min- very reasonable and very busy! Food staff was amazed at my husband ordering the buffalo dip and the buffalo sanch. It was the talk of the place as the couple behind us stared ordering the same thing. I orders broiled scrod and was delicious. Very nice staff .
